Sagada Community Consumers Cooperative

This is essentially a little coop style diner on the edge of the downtown area. There's nothing special about the decor or ambience, but it's homely and comfy.
I came here because I was told that this is the last place that makes the local lemon pie with real lemons and not canned concentrate.
Apparently they only bake them in the afternoon and you have to arrive at a specific time to be able to taste them. The pies were cooling down when i arrived and I ended up having to wait almost two hours in total to have a slice.
The verdict: the pies are okay. Lacking in butter, sugar, and meringue. Was disappointed, but happy to support the local bakers.
Also, I had a slice and a coffee for under 100 pesos. Insanely cheap for Filipino standards.
