Sagada Underground River

Great small hike. Ask the locals on the way to get there from the road, it seems like you enter somebody's property. The road is paved at first and later not so watch your step when walking down especially in rain. Easy and definitely worth it.

The Eco Adventure Tour where you hike and trek for 4 hours starting from St. Mary the Virgin Church passing through Echo Valley Hanging Coffins, beautiful forest trails, the Underground River, rice fields and Bokong Natural Pool was worth our time in Sagada!

Nice easy hike. Water levels are low in December, but you'll probably misstep when crossing the river many times. It can be muddy to get there, so trekking shoes are adviced.

Great experience walking through the forest. The path along the tour leading to, and from the underground river, is well marked. Many parts are appropriately cemented to help non-serious/ beginner hikers like me. :)

The place is so cool, like literally. Be ready to get wet inside the cave. The water level when we get there is just above our knees. But always ready for something deeper. Since it was a trekking, we wore shoes when we went there but of course we brought slippers for we knew ahead of time that we're going to cross rivers. You're going to enjoy the views sorrounding the underground river of Sagada.

With a guide, make the short & sweet trip through beautiful valley along river... take the 'eco tour' and walk in water friendly shoes from local swimming waterfall to hanging coffins to experience the underground river along the way.

Do try the cave connection option. An adventure not for the faint-hearted. But an experience to be had for those thrill seekers, adrenaline junkies, nature lovers, passion spelunkers and even the most ordinary but willing risk takers. Have fun and dont get lost in the maze of huge boulders and gigantic natural maze puzzle in the country. And oh, dont forget to get a guide... for real.

You need some equipment with you, but if you want to escape Sagadas guide mafia then this is a place for you. I would strongly recommend good footwear because path is slippery and muddy when wet.

going here can be a challeng but fun. water is cold. i just hate local tourists who litter the place. i hope we all get responsible in keeping our nature clean. lots of empty plastic water bottles within the vicinity. grrrrrrr. also i love sagada for its cool weather. but very far.

Very good place to hangout for a while far from city life....It's a 5-8 minute walk from the town of Sagada on Baguio road....

Sweet! You would want to bring heavy duty flood lights to enjoy the rock formations.

Try the adventure trail if you are looking for extreme activities.
