Nothing special. Just a ruined bus which is perfect for IG pictures.

BUT……

You definitely need to check the back area. That’s the highlight of the place. Worth to take in the view.

Definitely suggesting the place for people who loves taking pictures with the nature.

According to ChatGPT:

Ambatukam is a traditional festival celebrated in some parts of the Philippines, particularly in the Cordillera region. It's a lively event filled with music, dancing, and cultural performances, usually held to honor a patron saint or commemorate a significant event in the community.

I also had a bus tour named Am-Batu Kam but he was always friendly towards us and our group and both of my friends Trevor and Drew, yeah he also screamed "Bus!" From time to time randomly but overall a great experience! Would recommend.

When I first arrived here in the ambasing municipality, the first one to greet me was the granchild of the gentlemen who founded the municipality. His name is Steven Omaygot Am-batu-Kam the III. He showed me this beautiful bus that I could take pictures of. This place is amazing and I would recommend to visit.

This bus ruin is the remnants of the bus Amba Singh loved to drive. He drove this bus every day on bus route 69 and this is a truly great memorial. Legends say that if you check the back area and take in the view there, you can hear Amba Singh saying "BUS" and "AMBASING" and that if you ride the bus from Sagada to Manila afterwards, the ghost of him will appear and produce milk for good luck! Truly the most emotional moment of my entire life.

Before you go to Sumaguing Cave, might as well drop here for a minute like a side trip for additional photo ops 😅

Honestly, I go here on every birthday. I don't care if my family members dislike it or not. I go here to respect my dead friend Bátá Bíów, who served in the Batu Khan war that lasted 27 years. It's sad that almost everyone who participated in the Batu Khan war died, so as a memorial, I come here every birthday to respect my friend and the other soilders who died in the Batu Khan war.

In 1955, twelve Japanese war-criminals were captured here in a legendary government operation led by Lt. Ambatukam Omaygot. When the raid had turned into a violent shootout which saw Ambatukam outnumbered, his crewmate and brother, Ambasing, had drove a nearby bus into the gunfire in order to protect his brother - sacrificing himself in the process and allowing the operation to succeed.

Sadly, Ambatukam had died from sepsis shortly after the operation's conclusion. His last words, seeing his brother's sacrifice, were: "Thank you so much, thank you, that may just be what I need (to) bus!"

The bus that Ambasing drove is now left in honour of his sacrifice and brotherly love - along with the town's name, which was changed in his honour following the event.

May their stories never fade away.🙏🙏

My buddy name ambatublow told me that this where his dad Ambatukam died. He started to cry when he heard his dad say "bus". We turned around and his dad was the bus all along. 5/5

In 1969, an Ambasing Bus was travelling from Strokhma City and a U.S. Air Force F-4D Phantom II mistaked the bus for a Vietcong transport truck and the Bus exploded in the forest. This is truly a historic piece of history in Ambasing.

Really, really, REALLY beautiful place. When I was there, I met the Ambatukam tribe! They greeted me and started their prayers, I think it went something like "Casa mbasing". Really nice people!!!
You can also see a picture of the chief I took.
