This was what I was only expecting when I decided to go back to Sagada, and it did not disappoint! In fact, I was lucky to have seen the sea of clouds!
I'm in awe of this wonderful creation. The climb and the long hours was worth it. Truly magnificent.
The trek was also good, it's not that difficult but there parts that are rocky and steep.
Glad to have had great people around that made the journey fun and less exhausting.

I know I say this a lot in my other reviews, but I do really think that the view here is one of a kind. Astonishing. Marvelous. Scary, especially if you are afraid of heights. But I would say that the trek here is not that exhausting but absolutely worth it.

Breathtaking and worth the early prep. The hike usually starts at 5am, might take 1-2 hours depending on your pacing. Was lucky to witness the sea of clouds. Definitely a must whenever you're in Sagada!

The experience is surreal. I highly recommend to EVERYONE.

You’ll definitely feel being one with the nature.

This is what made Sagada famous, it is must to visit this place once you go to Sagada. However, be ready to Trek of approximately 1 hour in an easy Trek. If you are a pro, you can directly continue to Blue Soil Hills but if not, you can just visit Marlboro Hills then go back to where you started.

The sea of clouds will definitely leave you in awe. We started trekking at 5am and we missed the sunrise with a little time difference and after we reached the peak, we trekked another couple of hours to reach blue soil which is also wonderful. Highly recommended for beginners. We trekked for 6 hours.

The trail is recommended for beginners. It was a great experience having witnessed the sunrise or if not, you'd be greeted by a sea of clouds. The trail wasn't hard but it was quite long with stop overs! You can stop and rest for a while if tired and they even sell food there too.

The view is definitely breathtaking!!!!!

Awesome place! We woke up at 3am to start the trek at 4am. Really worth our time and effort! Almost an hour of trek (depends on your phasing). Wear comfortable shoes and bring drinking water, and towels, cos you'll surely sweat! There are some stalls selling breakfast at the peak of the hill.

Getting to the peak where you can see the sea of clouds was enthralling as expected. But hiking to get there, and continuing to Blue Soil, it made me want to hike more once again which kind of died down when pandemic happened. Really magical place. There's breakfast nooks by the viewing spot. I don't remember seeing a toilet so be sure to do the deed before embarking.

Great hike!
Too bad we didn’t get to see the sunrise because of the thick fog.

There’s food sold up there - coffee, arrozcaldo, champorado, coffee and a variety of cookies and chips.

You just register as a tourist upon arrival and there must be a guide. They will check 😄

But their system is good. It ensures the same and fair price to tourists.

If you’re ever at Sagada, this place is definitely a must-visit especially if you want to become one with nature. Cold breeze, sea of clouds, pine trees, overview of different districts in Sagada.

Be sure to bring the the following essentials:
Jacket - It tends to get very cold once you reach the top.
Head torch - Zero visibility because of the heavy fog.
Walking stick - Regardless if it’s during summer or rainy season, it’s really slippery because of the mist that forms in pine tree leaves.

Watch out for big tree roots, muddy waters, slipper rocks, and a lot of cow feces.

Overall, beginner-friendly!

This place will forever hold a special place in my heart. We hiked this place on a weekend last May 2022 and my long time boyfriend proposed on top of the beautiful Marlboro Hills! Perfect place for a perfect day!

The hike was easy and I will recommend it to beginners. I think it took us less than an hour to reach to top. Upon reaching the top, there are restrooms and small stores selling food and other stuff. Depending on the day, there might be plenty of hikers but the view of the sea of clouds is definitely fulfilling! One of the best sea of clouds I have seen seen.

From the top, it only gets better on your way down. Unlike any other mountains I have hiked before, the way down is composed of different instagrammable landscapes which I prefer to call stations! There was this station full of limestones, another with a brick red soil, a pine forest, a clearing with a big limestone at the back, then the blue soil. It will never get boring on your way down!

Be amazed with the different plants and flowers there! The local guides were also nice and patient with us!

This is the perfect spot to observe sunrise and - if lucky - the sea of clouds. However, we visited in the early afternoon and it was equally beautiful. The trail starts close to The Lalouette Inn and Petron Gas Station. If one keeps following south one will reach Blue Soil.

highly recommended for hiking and trekking.quite hard to climb and go down since there are some part that was slippery specially in the sandy part and those with red pine leaves on the ground.
You have to wear proper foot wear.

Beautiful scenery. We were fortunate enough to enjoy the sunrise, with a sea of clouds in the valley below. Well worth the early start!
