It was a wonderful experience not only because of the place but because of the gentle people of the resort's management and staffs and of Mataas na Kahoy, Batangas. The place may need some loving as the business got sour during the pandemic (quite understandable) and our visit can make it happen.

Let's love local and PLEASE practice CLAYGO. 🥰 It won't hurt to show how well we were raised by our parents or elders.

There are more fun and majestic places nearby and here in the Philippines like this one that won't hurt your wallet. All we have to do is search online. 😉

We enjoyed our stay here. My kids loves all the kiddie pool. Other's may not prefer lean days but not our family since we always want the whole place to be just us.. 😂😂😂 Love the view! Very friendly staff. We will definitely come back here for another birthday celebration! Thanks La Virginia!

The place is great with lots of pools, activities and different types of accommodations.. The whole place is instagrammable. But maybe due to pandemic, not all of their pools are being maintained. During our stay, you may only enjoy 3 of their pools.

They have a lot of pools and activities (archery, wall climbing, etc..), you wont get bored. Rooms are very nice and clean. A kid-friendly resort. They also have playground for the kids. Accomodating staff.

I did enjoy this place has like 4 or 6 pools at different places walking around was a real workout going up hills lol 😆 😅

Nice view of Taal volcano. Clean CRs with lot of cottages and rooms. Family friendly place. Will definitely go back here.

Love this place..So many instagrammable spots to take photos.They have variety of swimming pools to choose from. The place gives you the 360 degree scenic view of what the resort looks like and the view of Taal Lake.

Amazing view, great place, the rooms were clean and cozy. Pool was cold (better if you have a girlfriend) the pool is colder if you are single.

Brings your kids here, they will surely enjoy. Try to swim in all the pools, every corner of this place is interesting. With nice view of the lake/volcano

La virginia is a unique and quiet enough for those travellers who need to refresh their mind from stressful activities in life, a very cool and relaxing ambiance which stand out amongs highlands in taal soroundings, elegant and decent rooms ,villas, pools ,club houses, huts, gardens with chapels, archery gallery, and many more features inside ,etc

We had our team building here. This place was built in a mountain. So be careful in driving, running or even walking. Place is great! A lot of swimming pools.

Good view of Taal Lake. Can accomodate big groups whether company outings, team buildings, holiday or just simply escape from the busy city life. Enjoy, relax and rejuvenate.

La Virginia Hotel & Resort located in Mataas na kahoy a beautiful place that you can view the Taal Lake and Volcano. Suggested place for Family Reunion, Barkada's Bonding etc.

A ideal place for team building and perfect with friends however not ideal for older people because distance from one attraction to the other is quite exhausting due to uneven grounds.

Nice resort, but not friendly for the elderly or PWDs because to get to the next pool the way is too steep to walk.

The place is so huge and it is full of picture worthy structures. Overall a great experience for the whole family.
