Recently we needed a custom cake for our Christmas party. We decided to order from Cake Avenue in Dauis. We went in one week prior and talked to them about needing a two tier chocolate for around twenty minutes. We were told the cost of the cake would be 2500 pesos and they could have it done in one day. We went in on Friday December 18 to order and pay for the cake. The lady informed US that the price had changed because of Chocolate flavoring and now it would be 3800 pesos.. I thought that was a little high so we down sized to a regular one layer cake for 2100 pesos. It was suppose to be finished at 2pm Monday December 21. When we arrived the cake was beautiful and I was very impressed. I thanked the employees and was very happy. We had our Christmas party at 5pm and at around 6pm I cut the first piece of cake for myself. The cake was so dry and the icing had no taste. There was also some kind of filling in the cake that also had no taste. Several people tried the cake and just left in on their plate. I can honestly say the cake was a total disaster for us and we'll never use Cake Avenue in Dauis again.
