Yap Dental Clinic

Location is a plus and convenient when running errands. The dentist who did my prophylaxis made sure I was comfortable during the entire procedure. You get your money’s worth for their service. A special shout-out to their accommodating staff, Maricel.

They have the accommodating staff and dentist by far. Whenever I book an appointment, they ensure to give a confirmation for your booking, at the same time, they even make a follow-up in case you forget your time of appointment.

I also had my tooth x-ray at their clinic (as recommended by my other dentist), and I totally appreciate the clarity of the result unlike an experience I had with another clinic in Tagbilaran (I did not know about Yap & Associates back then) where the results were blurry and they kept on re-doing the x-ray because of that. I also love how the dentist properly explained the condition of my teeth, as well as the things that I need to do to address those. They even gave a rough estimate of how much everything will cost should I decide to have my teeth done which is totally nice cause I would know how much I need to prepare (financially) for it. 🙂

The ambiance of the clinic is nice, the AC is cold (which is really important for me), and the clinic is clean. I always have a satisfying experience every time I visit them. 🙂

5 stars for the treatment - excellent hygienic clean, check up and braces removal. We had to wait 1.5 hours to be seen but the quality of the treatment brought the rating up

I love how the dentist worked on my teeth from cleaning and composite veneers that looks natural and even in terms of its color and sizes. Dentist has great work ethics and very professional. im so happy that i can confidently smile now. the price is affordable as well.

To be honest, I was just wondering why they got alot of 5 stars. LOL.

Terrible experience: I scheduled a checkup for 700 pesos. She never did the checkup. Without asking, the dentist immediately started cleaning my teeth. After leaving her office I scheduled an appointment with another dentist and learned I did have cavities. Yap Dental never mentioned this.

In addition to not asking if I wanted a cleaning the dentist never said 10 words to me. She did however talk to her assistant the entire time as if I wasn't even there.

The assistant was holding a suction tube in my mouth and rubbing his body up against me the whole time. It wasn't his fault because it is such a small space but it was very uncomfortable.

The dentist touched the metal fillings (pasta) in my mouth with her metal scaler (cleaning tool) causing me sharp pain 3 times. The first two times I thought it was an accident. The third time I realized it was because she was busy talking to her assistant and not paying attention to what she was doing. I stopped her, I got up and left.

Instead of the 700 pesos I agreed to pay she charged me 1,200 pesos for half a cleaning (just the bottom teeth). Again I want to mention I never requested a cleaning & I never received the checkup. I recommend you avoid this business.

Real review. This place doesn't have private rooms. They have a very old dentist and his hands were shaking and missed the tooth occasionally and hurt my gums.. and he just laughs. The filling they gave me was poorly done and broke in half after just 1 month.. we called to ask if they can repair their work and they refused to take the blame.. even though it's obvious the filling was made too thin and weak...

Come here at your own risk. Don't expect this place to take responsibility of their poor work. There are better dentists elsewhere.

They have two chairs, two doctors, two assistants, & two customers (six people) in a tiny tiny room. Very uncomfortable. I didn't get the name of the dentist but she was not friendly at all. She barely spoke to me. I need to get a lot of work done on my teeth but I won't be doing it here.
