We stayed for 3 days and 2 nights here and everything is so perfect <333 Actually, the challenging part of the stay is the "hike" to the hut, since it rained when we get there, so the path is bit slippery. We just take it as a part of the experience since the place is very cozy and wonderful. The host provided us with free water, tea and coffee, and recommend us to bring our own food that we can cook. They also have a wifi but the connection is bit unstable, same to networks like Globe and Smart. Overall, Jungle hut is good place to stay, specially if you want to disconnect for a bit. The long travel from Siquijor Port to this place is very worth it.

This is literally the most amazing place I’ve ever stayed … so beautiful, private, and no detail is spared. Make sure you check out the river too! The caretaker was responsive and friendly and really cares about the place and guests. This place should be far more expensive than it is… book it!!

Road getting there is a little rough, so drive carefully. Totally worth it for the experience!

If you want some seclusion and being closer to nature, Jungle Hut delivers. Staff are very accommodating. They have a tricycle driver, Eleazar, who's very nice and assists you when needed. Food (from Twenty4) is very good too!

I WANT TO LIVE HERE! Perfect for romantic getaways and enjoying nature. The river access in the property is amazing and Jam and Lee are the best hosts one can ask for.

Place, view, cleanliness, staff, all were just awesome ☺ Such a great place to unwind.

Zu schön um wahr zu sein. !! Ein Traum vom Jungle Haus ;)
Leider haben wir nur eine Nacht gebucht und uns direkt geärgert bei Ankunft.

Zu Fuß kann man runter zum River ein Ausläufer der berühmten Wasserfälle "noch" ist man ganz allein da. Den Jungle hut findet man super per Google Maps. Ein Roller ist ein muss.so kann man ins nah gelegene Dorf um einzukaufen und für ein bbq.

Well thought out architecture

Bad:
Place starting to show its age
Steel nails are popping out the bamboo
Extremely warm and uncomfortable in summer
Without AC needs a decent fan at least
Dangerous unlit steps going to the house
Delayed responses from caretaker

Recommendation:
Nice to experience but place too isolated
Struggle to go up and down dangerous steps
May need to strengthen areas of the house that are starting to deteriorate
Overall place looks way nicer in photos than reality
