Good spot to chill and learn some history, as the old church and Spanish Tower from 19th Century helps you discover a bit of Cebu Insland's past.

Beautiful Alegria, where my Father's hometown. Located in the southern part of Cebu. 3 to 4 hrs. drive from the city. We do have a yearly visit here with my cousin as a way of remembering the death anniversary of my Lola. My last visit was 2019. Due to pandemic wasn't able to visit for almost 2 years and last week was an exception, can't contain our happiness to visit to this place again and to celebrate with my cousin's Wedding.

Typhoon Odette destroyed roads, houses and the Church, Saint Francis Xavier Parish Church there's a minimal damaged in the front side.

Even if, there's a good in every situation. The breathtaking view and the people are very accomodating, appealing and smiling. The place was calm, relaxing and pleasant.

Located along the Southern Cebu highway, you can't miss this (small) park as your drop-off point at Alegria.

Though it is not advisable to swim in the waters but it is a great place for a picnic or simply enjoy watching boats pass through Tablon Strait.

Within the park, one can notice the Spanish watchtower (baluarte), part of the defense network across the Cebu island against the raiders.

The place is so relaxing after hiking in Mt. Lanaya which is also a mountain in that area. and if your lucky u can find a sea turtle at the bay.

This town has alot of tourist destination. By dropping to thier tourism office u can learn more about the places of can visit like Cambais falls and Canneoniring.
As of now longest River Walk you will experience is on construction. The next time you will visit this place will be the best.

We really got a great time relaxing in the place. So relaxing and peaceful. And lots of bench around..

Is a good place to stop on the way, reflex to see ocean and old fort

Cute little park with great views of the ocean and the historic church! Or at least I think that’s what it is. There’s a selection of little markets up the street and tons of friendly locals. 🙂

a nice place if you want to reminisce your history

Stretch those legs after being cramped after hours on the road by walking around the park. The view of the seaside is breathtaking and relaxing.

I've been here before and I can say that the place is very nostalgic. The structure of the building is very classic. Good for prenup and big events since it's surrounded by nature.

Very nice park. They have restaurants and massage parlor run by the LGU which has given jobs to locals. I hope they government is running it honestly. The food was good. Very interesting to see there was an old watch tower from the time of the Spanish rule. Please keep the place clean and refrain from throwing trash at the sea.
