Playa Tropical Resort Hotel

Breathless hidden resort in Laoag! Not crowded and family-friendly resort. My kids enjoyed it a lot! The beach is right there next to the resort and you will find your peace at this place. It is worth driving from Cavite to Laoag. Very relaxing place! It is recommended, especially for families.

We just came back here. It's a beautiful resort. Location and view make a European accent like Greece or Italy. The room rate is very affordable, highly recommended for local tourist, Europe, United States, Canada, or to everyone. Very good place to organize a vacation for 10 days for the family or group of friends.

Mark assisted me from the start to end of our team building. The facilities are perfect for our seminar (group of 80) and their prices are negotiable. They also assisted us in booking our speaker. We booked 3 of our team building batches with them, and we are all happy. During one of our dinners, they set up an acoustic band for us. What a pleasant surprise!

If you're planning to go up north but want a less populated beach area, come here. Kid-friendly, decently-priced rooms, and the staff are nice. Pool is good both for kids and adults. The beach area is shallow and perfect for those who are not good swimmers. Our only issue was the included breakfast buffet because of its limited variety and servings.

Definitely enjoyed my stay at Playa. Rooms were nice and comfy. The sheets are of high quality and is what I always looks for when staying at a resort/hotel. Food was just okay though.

Will come back but hope the price i got it for does not change.

This place is amazing. The views are spectacular. The facilities are user friendly and is worth every star. The family had lunch here and I tell you the food is extraordinarily delicious. Would be coming here again. No doubt.

Truly a nice resort to relax after a long drive. The food are amazing. The people are incredibly hospitable. We just wish the beach fronting their property should be swept regularly to get rid of those empty bottles of beer and plastics.

Truly one of the best resort from the good rooms to excellent service. The hotel ambiance was very lovely and serene, perfect for those who want to feel relax and have a peace of mind. Highly recommended to visit and must have on your bucketlist!

Went here as walk in, luckily we had a booking because they’re always full! Staff are friendly. Breakfast was just okay, can be better. But restaurant food was value for money.

We came from Pagudpud and didn’t like the resort we stayed in. We went to Currimao and transfered to this resort. Our family friends from Ilocos recommended Playa Tropical and this place is so much better! Not a 5-star resort but this is the best that you can get in Ilocos!!! The beach is even safer for our kids! Kayaks were also available. We played pingpong (free for checked in guests) Pool is huge. Sunset spectacular. Will recommend!

I had a great experience with Playa Tropical, amazing staffs and is very friendly. Very cozy rooms and beautiful views (very instagramable). This is the perfect hotel for a weekend getaway, will highly recommend this to everyone ❤

Its a great way to treat family and place is amazing it did not just met our expectations its more than what we expected. Staffs are friendly and food are amazing too. Highly recommended.

The resort is wonderful. We came here for two nights and extended our stay for another night. The staff has been great, so friendly and welcoming. The suites have hot water shower, tv, fridge, and a safe for your passport ect. The AC is nice and cold and the unit was quiet. The WiFi is AMAZING! Full speed connection to the internet. The coffee in the morning is delicious brewed. The food has been delicious as well, very well prepared. I recommend this little resort, and it seems fairly popular for weddings and events too with a large outdoor hall viewing the beach and water.

We attended an exclusive wedding event at Playa Tropical. The couple booked all the rooms and villas. We stayed in Casa Tierra. We had our own pool. The sunset was amazing. Food was yummy and decoration was elegant.

Excellent hospitality and amazing location! Simply one of the best places to retreat and recharge. Will definitely keep on coming back here with friends and relatives!

Such a beautiful place! Staff's are great, very accomodating and helpful. Had a good view of the sea at the floating cottages near at the swimming pool. They are following the good health protocol. Good for a night stay if you're in a tight budget coz they have cheap rates. Hopefully we will come back again.❤
