OSPITAL NG KABATAAN NG DIPOLOG- Is one of the private hospitals meant for the people of Dipolog City and neighboring municipalities. I came to know about this hospital when my brother was admitted last December 2020 because of Melaena. Occupying a private room was preferred to avoid Covid infection. One advantageous thing in this hospital is that especial Diagnostic like Endoscopy and Medical Laboratory exams are just adjacent to the hospital and that he must not drive far distance to be re-examined. Above all his attending Physician and all the health team were friendly and competent enough to treat and handled him with more professionalism as a patient. After 6 days he was discharged grateful and satisfied about the fast health recovery.

My sister while on labor in OKD, the baby’s head is coming out already and my sister wanted to push already coz she felt the baby is really coming out, but the nurse/midwife told her NOT TO PUSH YET because the OB and Pediatrician were not yet there. (It’s not her first baby, so she knows the baby is coming out.) The baby came out without a pulse. They revived the baby but transfered him to Zanorte hours after. And the nurse/staff who accompanied my brother in law bringing the baby going to Zanorte in an ambulance just left my brother inlaw and his baby even no nurse or doctor received them, leaving my bro inlaw ambu bagging the baby alone, no one attended them and like they were just near the doorside. They were left behind by the Kabataan nurse at 10pm and were attended by Zanorte staff at 3am and the baby was declared dead at 4am. The baby was not brought to NICU, just near the doorside of Zanorte. The story is long and some staffs had negligence. My sister lost their baby because of the medical staffs’ negligence. And now I’ve learned a lot of patients had a very bad experience with your hospital staffs. And the disappointing part thats adds a he pain is, it’s so difficult to complain because of the system and everything, you will not be heared and the process will be very long.
