Alva's Food Processing

Every time I pass by Alva's I always get tangled with the appetizing smell of its fried chickens as it is being cooked on the side street. The fried chickens then are displayed on a heater for any passers-by to see. It's really hard to resists seeing how crispy and meaty their fried chickens are. Not to mention how affordable it is as well.

The fried chickens are cooked to perfection so you can eat it warm, tender, and crispy. It also gives out a unique garlicky fragrant that compliments its tastes perfectly.

Their fried chickens are very affordable most of the parts costs less than P20.00 and the premium ones like the breasts costs around P25.00. Its way cheaper than most mediocre fried chickens in Cebu.

Unlike some fried chicken stores I've tried, they don't pair their fried chickens with puso (hanging rice) but pairs it would a regular cup of rice. A mini cup of rice which costs P7.00. They also don't use gravy here for their chicken but it goes well eaten plain or with soy sauce.

The only thing I disliked the most on this establishment is how chaotic it is to take an order. There is no “line” to begin with, and not only you have to go outside the establishment to take your orders but you also have to get inside (even when you're only there for the take outs) and pay them at the cashier.

Worst, since there is no line at all, expect to be left unprioritized as you wait when will the servers notice you. Sometimes, they'll prioritize most of their friends working at Marcela even you come in their minutes earlier than them.
