I recently had a rather unpleasant experience during my ultrasound appointment in Aquino Medical Specialists Hospital Inc., and I felt compelled to share my feedback. In the past, I've had the privilege of encountering friendly and engaging radiologists who made the experience more comfortable for me. Unfortunately, this particular appointment was quite different.

During the ultrasound, I couldn't see the screen and politely asked the radiologist if he could adjust his position so I could have a better view. However, he didn't acknowledge my request and continued the procedure without a word. His demeanor was rather stern, and he avoided making eye contact with me, making the entire process feel rushed and impersonal, unlike my previous experiences.

He inquired about my Expected Due Date (EDD) based on the previous ultrasound, which I answered as November 3. Despite my attempts to engage in conversation by mentioning that the baby had been in a different position (cephalic) during a previous examination, he responded curtly, "patay nga baby ra ang dili mulihok mam, kay buhi mani imong bata mutuyok pajud ni...didto naka mabalaka kung dli na mulihok imong bata." I clarified that I wasn't suggesting the baby was fixed in one position but merely stating a fact about its previous position.

To my surprise, he snapped at me, accusing me of being "maldita" (difficult or rude). This caught me off guard because I had not intended to be confrontational, and it was he who had been uncommunicative throughout the procedure. Why do you allow someone who lacks basic customer service skills to interact with your clients in such a manner? Does this person even have any prior knowledge of our previous interactions to make such a statement?

Subsequently, he continued to discuss my baby and eventually offered an apology for the previous incident. Skipping ahead, when I attempted to speak with the OB-GYN, she was unavailable, leaving me with no alternative but to seek advice from him regarding the necessary medications. He then forwarded this information to the nurse, who was unable to address my inquiries adequately. The entire process lacked any meaningful discussion, and I was simply handed the prescribed medicines, leaving me still uncertain about their necessity.

The lab results were delivered, and once again, he recommended the medications. When I inquired about the costs, he indicated that I might not be able to afford two of the prescribed medicines, aside from the CEFALEXIN.

I have no desire to revisit a costly hospital that fails to provide proper patient care. My visit was intended to obtain answers to my questions, but I left with even more questions and a sense of disappointment. Throughout my journey back to Laak, I reflected on this experience, enduring subpar service, feeling underestimated, judged, and lacking in customer service.

I implore you to consider the mental and emotional well-being of the patients you serve, as we are paying for more than just medical attention.

Very bad hospital & laboratory.
