The food was delicious here with the atmosphere being unique and great.

When you enter it's like a canteen where the food is prepared and you tell them what food you want and pay at the end. There were a lot of food choices so we didn't get to try everything.

The price was good in my opinion. The rice cost 25 pesos but a lot of rice is given. An order of lechon kawali is P500 but it can serve 2-4 people. Laing with meat inside was around P160-P170. A whole itik is P400 (though it didn't have much meat, but you can pour the sauce on the rice)

The taste was great. The rice was soft and fit with the rest of the food. The Itik was cooked in a adobo-like sweet sauce and the meat was not tough or dry. The lechon kawali was juicy and crispy so it was great to eat. The laing was also very flavorful, perfect with the rice. The squid didn't have much taste so you need to dip it in the sauce given.

For the atmosphere, it is a cute restaurant with a lot of vintage decor and the design is unique. You can also eat on a table with a view of the fields and mountains in the background. It is a nice place to pass the time in and relax if you have the time.

Rated as the Most Outstanding Restaurant in Laguna. At first glance you think that this resto is small but as you enter you would be suprised how big it is. It's full of knick-knacks and has a very nostalgic vibe.

As you sit in the dining area you will be amazed by the beauty of nature. There is an overlooking of fields and mountains.

They serve traditional Filipino cuisine and the food here is very delicious.

With the overlooking of mountains, fresh air and delicious food I can say that eating here is definitely an experience.

This 20 year old restaurant serves very good lutong bahay and at very reasonable prices. Perfect for those really hungry because this turo turo style restaurant has ready to eat food as well as off menu offerings (see bulalo). Ambience wise, there is nothing really more to explain.

ISKARGU Where you can get your favorite Isda, Karne and Gulay recipes. Serving is fast and you can choose as soon as you get there. We ordered kare kare, kalabaw, sizzling tuna, kulawo, mustasa salad and guinataang bilo bilo for dessert. For drinks they have cucumber lemon, melon and mango coolers. Worth the price.

A great place to treat your family with your favorite filipino dishes.. Highly recommended is the bulalo and the crunchy chicharon bulaklak plus the grilled squid.. All dishes are very good and I am sure that you will come back after you eat..👍👍👍

Good food and worth the price. Recommended to try their Fresh Juice. Tried the Melon and Cucumber one. System of ordering food is great.

The ambiance in Iskargu is quiet nice. If you are looking for something so Filipino then you must try iskargu because their dishes are very authentic and the preparation is very nice. the setting as well is very provincial and native to which you have banana leaf as your plate cover. they have variety of food that is really drooling like. I always get what I expect whenever I eat in this restaurant. They have parking space that is just at the side of the road. Their desserts are also very special and can be packed for some take away. I just noticed that there's no one guiding the people going out of the restaurant from the parking area which is very dangerous. moreover, everything is well. :) Thank you Iskargu!

If you are looking for a great home cooked restaurant and happened to be on your way home or destination passing national highway in Calauan, Laguna, IsKarGu is a great stop to enjoy Filipino dishes of fish, meat, and veggies (ISdaKARneGUlay). The restaurant has three sections, fine dining, regular and outdoor which we enjoyed so much because of a picnic like ambiance, in the bahay kubo with sorrounding plants and great scenery at the back. The restaurant only setback is a small parking lot as far as I'm concerned. But, hey visit the place and see for yourself how great it is. Enjoy! !

The place itself is very relaxing if you're the type who enjoys the "buhay-bukid" life. Food taste like lutong bahay. All in all, it was a great experience and we will surely go back for another dine.

It was one of the most delectable and pleasurable sensations I've ever had. The food served here was delicious, and the service was excellent. The scenery was lovely, and the surroundings reminded me of home. If I had the opportunity to visit this location, I would. I recommend this place to many folks who want to try the local cuisine. 😉
