ES Calaycay Beach Resort

A good place to relax. The "house cottages" are an innovation-the "upper serves" as a room where you can rest and sleep because it has mattings and foam while the "open base" serves as picnic area because it has tables and chairs.

It has 2 swimming pools. One for kids and one for adults.

Car park is available. Just a caution when parking... don't park on the sandy part 😀

There is also a cemented open area in between the "house cottages" which could serve as an open hall for night activities perhaps like social gatherings.

There is also a function hall that can hold a medium group of people.

Spacious. Nice beach front.

Excellent resort

ES Calaycay is best preferred beach resort with the local Barangay operating nearby. The only problem is keeping the public beaches clean. The parking service is very good and reasonable.

Swimming time was one of the best .

The resort looks great. The Ifugao huts are a nice touch, made the whole look of the place. Definitely a place you can relax at, if not for the poor customer service. No toiletries, the sheets were itchy. Not something you expect when they charge you P4500 for a tiny air-conditioned room with shared bathroom. They also charge an entrance fee per head even you already availed their rooms. No restaurant, but you can bring your own food without corkage. I don't know but this is my first time to experience having to bring your garbage with you when you check out. Imagine loading large trash bags in your car along with your things. Didn't feel like we were paying guests. It's like we asked them for a favor to use their place. The resort is in a remote area, so it's not worth the drive especially for people like us coming from a different province.

Our experience with the resort was bad. Considering that we paid in advance for our 3 days 2 nights stay, and yet when we arrived at the resort, the gates are closed. We've been knocking outside the main gate for almost 20 minutes, considering that my family are tired of the 6 hours travel already. When we manage to enter another gate, there was one staff who was cleaning the resort, he was not informed that a guess is coming, he claimed, and told us that we have to call the contact person. The pool was dirty and we found two live small crabs in it, so our disappointment is getting bigger and bigger. We transferred to another resort. I am not recommending this resort. Poor customer service, pools not clean, and there is only bathroom which is outside the rooms and is shared with other guest. No restaurant inside and the resort is located outskirt.
