The falls itself is great and the water is clean. However the trail up to the falls are not really maintained. After you get past the village, it will be a long hike with a lots of damaged concrete structures that can really be dangerous if you slip, and after that is you'll walk the top of a retaining wall that is about 0.20m in width, beside a mountain that can be like 30-50m high from the ground. Some of it are also damaged due to landslide so it's really tricky and dangerous to step on a loose soil or stone. The hike can last for about 45mins to 1hr depending on how experienced the climbers are.

If you love trekking, you must visit this place. Literally, you will walk for 1 hour and half ( in our case). But definitely worthy! The falls itself is a total beauty. Also, we found the best tour guide, so we really enjoyed it.

Easy trail even for beginners. With a responsible guide and determination, one hour hike is worth it. For me, the scariest part is trekking the wet boulders with running water at the foot of the falls and ascending to the second level where a pool chest deep awaits those tired brave souls. Its worth the sweat !!!

Great morning hike. Finished it probably around 2 hours. On the way there, you’ll get to see different crops. You’ll also get a glimpse on how the lifestyle looks like on a daily basis as you’ll meet some of the locals along the way.

Make sure to watch your step as there are certain parts of the tour where the steps are slippery and narrow. I would recommend wearing something water-proof. Overall, recommended for beginners.

1 Hr trek thru stone and dirt road, thru locals and farm-life to experience the hidden beauty that sagada has to offer.

Gotta love this place. The falls up close is truly majestic. Water is cool and perfect during the summer weather. I recommend though going during the off season of July through October. Less people more fantastic photos.

Ice cold water.. Perfect for summer.. Much!nearer than the pongas mother falls but still fun.. Path is also challenging but less tiring.. Caution should be maintained still though.. A companion almost fell off a ravine..but we still managed to have fun

These folks are incredibly beautiful. The power of the falls after it rained was amazing. Beautiful picture spot. I highly recommend this for anyone visiting sagada.

We thought they're serious when they said that it's just an easy climb. Nah. Not quite, though it's very rewarding. You see, we passed a village, which is a very convenient place to buy refreshments before a short trek, and then across a foot bridge, the rice fields, over the rice paddings, the mountain ridges, over a brook, over the stony steep, and at a hill just to get at the foot of the main fall. It's a great trekking experience and it's good for the body. Our guides are really patient and helpful. We are grateful and blessed that they are not in a hurry and that they don't limit the time when we were there, unlike the other groups we encountered. They are after the quality of experience we had in their place. We are even amazed of how fast they climbed the steeps like it's nothing, just like the locals. They helped us climb and cross over, even if it seems difficult. We had picnic at the falls. The water is very cold and refreshing and had a great view of the sceneries that we cross. The water is not deep nor that clean but good for a very icy swim. We had a very wonderful time swimming and hiking.

Very beautiful place to go. Must see water fall in the Philippines. The water is cold - that's very refreshing for hot days. Along the way are some Sari-Sari where you can get some water, snacks and other things.

A good one hour trek from the parking lot of Ankileng Village passing thru beautiful Rice Terraces, hanging bridges, irrigation canals and slippery cliffs. The hike to the Pongas Falls is more difficult compared to that of Bomod-ok Falls. The falls is multi-layered and you need to climb if you want to get to the most beautiful and deep level. The water is icy cold and so rewarding after that long trek.

An easy walk from Ankeiling village alongside the irrigation canal. Most spectacular during the wet season but flows all year. Allow 45 minutes from the Ankeiling primary school carpark.

Worth the trek. You have to be very careful as you have to walk past steep slopes, but reaching the waterfalls is a great reward.
