Sangni Fort

This beautiful fort has stunning scenery around it. As a historical site, it needs but more information for the tourist.
Under the west side of the fort, rock shapes and a small water falls are unmissable.

From lahore or pindi, take break, move left to gojar khan and visit this place

Old heritage, Archeological site. Best to visit. Abdul Hakeem Sahab shrine also located here.

Great place to visit, its a fort with darbar. We went at 8am and were the only people there so it was quiet and peaceful. The fort has been well looked after. Definitely recommend a visit

Best place for visit Nice n Calm place, beautiful place.

It is lovely and mesmerizing historical place. Very calm and peaceful place. One can see people visiting this place from various angels. Newly weds are expected to come to pay regards to the spiritual shrine located just inside the fort. People also come here along with their families to visit the scenes of natural beauty. Students and researcher do visit this place due to its historical and archeaological importance. There is no tourist guide available though the local of the area do share various oral histories with the visitors. No tuck shop is available in the area nearby unless you visiting the nearest village.

Sangni Fort, an hour drive from Pindi and so worth the drive.

"Some 25 kilometres west of Gujar Khan and over the Sui Cheemian perennial river sits the ancient Sangni Fort. This fort, used for keeping prisoners, is believed to have been built by the Mughals and later occupied by the Dogras of Kashmir and the Sikhs.
There are many such forts and fortresses in the Potohar region, which include the Rohtas, Attock, Pharwala, Rawat, Giri. However, the Sangni Fort, perched on a picturesque location overlooking two rivulets, is most spectacular."
