On the rocks - Murree house

Best place to stay. Owner has managed things very nicely. Nice and safe place to stay for families.....

I would love to give 6 stars if the option was there, one of the best experiences of my life, came here with my family and loved each and every moment of our stay here, neat and clean house with all the facilities one needs during the stay, Mr. Nadeem, owner of the property is a humble and caring person, the caretaker Mr. Zulfiqar is very polite and accommodative in all respects, would love to visit this place again.

Beauty of nature

Rooms were very neat and clean. All the facilities were up-to the mark including hot/cold water, washrooms, kitchen, gas availability, internet, tv lounge, terrace etc

Pros :
Prices are very reasonable comparing others.

Cons:
I feel the location was not good because front view is blocked by another apartment and you cannot see the valley view. Secondly you have to drive about 1-2 km from main road to this point every time you need something.
Thirdly Road is also very challenging and dangerous.

Nadeem sahab was a very nice host, we were just three so he welcomed and reduced the price on request.

The Good:
It’s steep down from Gharial camp gate, away from city hustle n bustle, place ambiance is very good. It’s a refurnished house, but the house owner has really nice taste of design aesthetics.

The Bad:
GSM signals doesn’t work inside, internet was slow, Netflix doesn’t work.
Kitchen, 1 bedroom and Tv lounge is on ground floor, rest of two bedrooms are on 1st floor and the bbq area is on the top (like 4th floor) and it has a good view.

Housekeeper is nice guy but he has access to everything, he keeps his stuff inside the house as store room. And another driver room whose door opens inside the house. For sure he’ll be trustworthy person. But this thing bothered me.

Nice clean, housekeeper is helpful. House is split into two levels. Ground having one bedroom, living and kitchen. Upstairs having two bedrooms and a terrace. And then a third levels with a terrace with a view but moving from one floor to the other is not ideal. We lost one geaser and the replacement also didn’t work. Long and steep drive from main road. Overall a decent place to stay if you would just like to enjoy peace and quite away from the hustle bustle of the Murree bazaar. Not good for visiting the city everyday.
