Sharan Camping Pods

Visiting the camping pods in early winter. The Sharan forest became a mystical place, as we are in Alice's Winter wonderland. Though it is a short visit, the landscape with its snow-capped pine trees are breath taking. To arrive here will require about 45 mins of trecherous jeep ride to arrive the uphill of this camp and witness this mystical early winter moments. Highly recommend to those who love to explore and bear the witness of this magical beauty of Sharan forest.

It is a gem of place with beautiful views and relaxing environment... this place is in the middle of Sharan forest and as such is not commercialized, like Shogran or Naran.. so highly recommended for nature lovers..

The cons are that it can be accessed only via 1.5 hr jeep track, which is very bumpy and sometimes scary as well.. so not suitable for elderly or people with back issues... the jeep charges for one night stay ate 8k where same day return costs around 7k... the jeep can behired from Paras...

They have limited food options and as expected they are expensive (chicken karahi costed arojnd 2500) .. it is better to take your own food or cook it there if you are in the mood...

Pods are nice, but they could be improved in terms of space, comfort and cleanliness. Specially, the cleanliness of bedsheets and linens could be definitely improved.... they have portable washrooms in which hot water was not available (geysers were broken) staff was highly cooperative and they offered to heat water on stove...but it was too much hassle to do it again and again..

Overall good experience, it is better to visit this place in summer season till September as after it the nights get very cold...

The Sharan Camping Pods is.an experience of its own kind. It takes around 2 hours of 4x4 jeep to reach the place. It is in midst of dense jungle. It is not far away from civilisation but there is no telephone or mobile phone coverage there. There is no electricity though solar lights give some semblance of light for couple of hours at night. The toilets are excellent with hot running water. A place worth visiting.

It's one hour off road adventures drive.
Cleanliness of washroom and kitchen was bad. Solar plates, kids play area were damaged.
Govt should ensure safety of nature by awareness to visitors.

An Exclusive and astonishing place to stay in the wilderness. Engulfed by the Forest of Sharan, this peaceful place is ideal for family vacation. Prior booking is required. Camping Pods are the best experience providing bed space for 2 and 4 people. The quality of service and the friendly attitude of the staff is incomparable. Excellent quality food with friendly and supportive staff is very less seen in such places. There is no signals for any of the mobile services. Solar powered electricity to power up the lights after sundown is available, rest of your needs require additional power backup systems that could be booked in advance. There are Bathroom booths alongside each Pod (no attached washrooms). One of the best places to experience the NATURE at its best. A peaceful environment to connect with nature and relax your souls.

Best place for family tour for those who love nature and wana get break from hustling life. Recommended for family as well. If you have booking of pods thats plus point otherwise you can also camp there. Staff is very much cooperative

As a discover mother nature it's very good 👍 peaceful place camping 🏕 tracking 👣 hiking with the amazing jeeptrack, realy a peaceful place with clean atmosphere , but keep clean this place ! I recommend for all family's friends to must visit and take ( information ) befor you will come this beautiful place,

This was a beautiful adventure, we didnt rent rooms, we camped there in the jungle, it was right up to the mark.
took us 12 hours to get there from Faisalabad but it was worth it.

If you are looking for a secluded place then this is a great option. I went here with an office trip of 40 people and we booked all of the pods available.

You have to take a jeep to the location as the track is not suitable for normal cars. We went in the summers and the jeep ride was not as uncomfortable as I was expecting. The views from the location were amazing and there were lots of treks that you could do.

Mobile signals were hard to find, there was one specific location where you had to stand to get some signals.

The staff and management were really helpful and attentive.

They have also setup bathrooms that were pretty decent given the location.

What an amazing place to stay in the wilderness of Sharan Forest. The PODs are best in quality and provide you with all the needed facilities like electricity, bathrooms, lighting, charging sockets etc. Best place to stay in Sharan to have your peace of mind. Food is of excellent quality and staff is very friendly and supportive.

We stayed at camping pods for one night and rest of days in nearby tents provided by the tourism department and marked as "bachelors area". Very nice place and effectively preserved thick forest with wild flowers, birds and streams. Access is from town of Paras in local jeeps that one can rent out for 4000 pkr to 7000 pkr for a round trip (rates are for Aug 2021). Camping pods have solar lights and one can't charge cameras or cell phones (The biggest issue here). Toilets ate available and availability of water isn't an issue. But one can't stay for more than 2 nights because of lack of electricity. There are lovely hiking trails; the best one is to Manchi top offering stunning views of Shogran and Kaghan from the top. It takes almost 2.5 hours to 3 hours to reach Manchi Top from Camping pods area. Local guides are available. There is also a small tuck shop near pods and one can get chicken, cold drinks, chips, water and other items. One can also cook food There provided setup is there. Camping is also allowed in the dedicated area guards are there to help and support the tourists.

These camping pods are very comfortable, you can relax here after hustle and bustle of city, hectic life.

Must visit with your friends and family too,
Place for youngsters, honeymoon couples and friends. Go & Stay there but make sure you guys book it online before 15 days when coming here.

Superb management. Amazing place. Wonderful ambience. The people at the pods are really great, friendly and helpful. Its a perfect spot for families. From the main road a jeep takes you to the pods in around 1.5 hour. If you like to hike then there is this peak called Manshi top where you stretch your legs. Its a decent hike of 2.5 hours and once you reach the top you can see Makra peak and Malika Parbat peak from there.

One of the best places to visit nd live for some days to fresh up the soul.
Booking can be done by Kpk govt tourism website. Bring ur food along if you gonna stay here. As there aren't much fancy stuff available here. U ll get the basic food etx security and a nice place nd view to watch
