PTDC Motels, Naran

Experience of a lifetime. I would recommend staying at this place just because of the view when you wake up. The rooms are built like little huts with only power given for a few hours. It's like living in nature if that's what you are after. From the photos you can also see the view and how the hut is from the outside.

Beautiful views and peaceful atmosphere. The food is good especially the barbeque and breakfast. All basic facilities are available and they do have wifi facility as well. Cherry on top... U can experience horse riding there as well.

Five star rated motel because if its setup in pine woods, neither of any other other hotel can match it's serenity it's vividness its beauty in Naran, a place worth to go and stay in natural wilderness, although their huts are not highfy but privacy provided here leave all other ambiguities far behind, they have to work hard on variety taste and quality of food but who cares about anything else when you are in a complete lovable atmosphere, love to go there again and again to gain peace of mind.

Best place for family, i visit Naran more then 10 times but in last visit i stayed at there with family and enjoyed a lot, best for family, safe, scenic, silent, kids ground, night Live BBQ, and wide and clean environment, i book Cabana hut along side of river kunhar, you can't enjoy outside PTDC, Food is not as much as the place were, You only paid for the environment and it's worthy

Best place to stay in naran. Period. I would never stay in any of the overpriced market hotels. This motel has great grounds and the river kunhar passes through it. You can arrange BBQ for small groups and the trout served here are most reasonable in town. My advice, spend wisely and stay here

Starting from booking in PTDC office Peshawar up to Naran everything went smoothly .

This place is the loveliest on the entire naran. Away from all hustle and bustle of bazar. Hidden in lush green. With river kunhar flowing just behind. A well kept suspension bridge by means of which you can reach the other side of river and hike on the mountain. A bit on expensive side needs prior booking,but it’s worth the expense. Staff are well trained well mannered people. Hope u enjoy ur stay there!

One of the best in the heart of Kaghan Valley. PTDC Naran is most beautiful resort in Naran along side the Kunhar River, spectacular views of all around, lush green in summer & very beautiful colors in autumn as well. Families must stay here to enjoy the serene & calmness of this place & river.

This is the best place in Naran. You will not find a better Hotel/Motel/Resort in naran. Cottages are top class with an amazing view. A huge Ground with pine trees and kunhar river following on one side of the motel which gives an amazing view n relaxing ambiance.

Unparalleled location, rooms were pretty clean which was surprising considering how many people reviewed them to be dirty but I personally found them to be clean. The washrooms were modern and completely usable. Fantastic hot water at all times. Beautiful views. Ask for Jahanzeb, the horse man, if you've kids. He's got a beautiful docile horse named Buraq.

It is a well preserved beautiful motel with an old world charm. The service is excellent, the food is clean the rooms are old but clean. Best part the view is incomparable! Nobody has the view ptdc motel has.

An absolute retreat place with so much calmness around by the side of river. The tall trees, mountains and river flowing by provides the ultimate get away scene from city life hustle.

Beautiful place to stay in. Away from hustle and bustle of naran bazar, this is a serene accommodation to live in and detox for a few days. It has an in house restaurant which serves clean and hot food. Lush green lawn and river kunhar along its side is the cherry on the top!

*rooms are obviously old, need some maintenance. There are hotels in the main bazar with all amenities inside but again everyone is here to enjoy a cup of coffee in a serene environment rather than to sit in a cozy bedroom!

Nice clean and comfortable rooms, the food is good as well as staff.

Good view at the surrounding and jeeps are available inside the compound for visit to lake Saif-ul-Maluk.

PTDC huts in Naran can be a bit costly but the best place to stay in Naran. Specially the riverfront Hut#10 is highly recommended. You need to book in advance in tourist season as space is limited.
Costs: 22000 per night on Riverfront - Also options available from 5000 per night for single room and 12000 for single room huts.

An ideal and perfect location to stay while in Naran. You can enjoy the scenic river Neelum besides the motel. It has a Mosque and a restaurant as well. The market is also around the corner.

The only best residence place in Naran. Always booked, so arrange an early advance booking. Location marvelous, calm quite, away from traffic and shopping crowd. Diversified accommodation, one really enjoy their stay. Hotel is on the bank of kunhar river, also plenty of transportation available at the door step for Saif-ul-Malouk lake.

Most Beautiful place of naran, Should be given to private Company to run this Resorts once again … last time stayed here a decade before ..

I stayed at this motel some four years ago, it has got a great location and construction plan, it's mess services are really nice and close proximity to river Kunhar makes it a wonderful place to live.

One of the best Motel in Naran. Facilities are good. PTDC bus brings you right inside the motel. You won’t feel like staying at a government motel, Feels more like privately managed motel. Staff does everything they can to facilitate guests. Hot water is available all the time. No electricity in Naran but PTDC has their generators on at all times. No Reception at all. Only and Only Telenor 4G works if you have a good device. It has a restaurant right next to the Motel Office but it’s not a very good one as far as we experienced. Chaye is good but khana wasn’t upto mark. Overall the motel is great for stay for individuals as well as families however the prices are really high, ofcourse Naran is a remote area but $60+/night/room is a little too much for this motel. Other than that it’s a reasonable place to stay at. Enjoy!
