My mother applied here for her Schengen visa after Switzerland rejected unfairly 3 months ago. My mothers experience inside the embassy was great but was different from the staff at the gate who were very unprofessional, they were discouraging my mother NOT to apply for the visa and suggested to save the visa fee which my mother found very odd especially coming from the embassy staff. I’m glad we didn’t listen and went ahead to apply. The interviewer guy was really nice and polite and dealt with the case swiftly. 12 days later my mother received her Schengen visa. Thanks

I booked my appointment from 7:00 to 8:00
Due to some road blockage at diplomatic enclaves entrance it got delayed at shuttle service. I reached 1 hour late at embassy and the staff was aware of the delay reason. It took me 45min and I was done with my visa application.
They staff and interviewer lady was professional and polite.
When I came out there were so many people waiting outside.
I suggest to prepare the visa application as it is described.
Casual attitude and expecting exceptions on request would be of no use as I have seen so many people with incomplete applications.
Waiting area outside visa office needs serious improvement because It represents Deutchland.

For example, I got appointment for "Kurzzeit-/Schengen-Visa (Besuchs- & Geschäftsreisen, Tourismus) & Flughafentransitvisa" for February 2023. Ridiculous, no appointments are bookable through the web-site. Again and again the reference that appointments are released at short notice during the day is not through. 🙂
