Govt. Model Town Library

That was heart touching time for me .There was a silent environment, books arranged very beautifully,the main thing is that there was a prayer area where I say the prayer and thnks for all of this

Very peaceful environment with great collection of books📚

I've recently become a member, for the prices it demands it's cool I think. I mean the prices are not even prices, if you are an adult. It is affordable even for kids around 6 or so.

It is compromised of 4 sections(of which the fourth one is for self study). I usually visit to self-study, so I've not scorched through that many books. Although the ones I read were pretty good (probably because I have got a good taste LoL).

Anyways, it offers free computer usage if you are a member and free WiFi (which is decent enough). They got separate WiFi for every section. The ratio of male and female members is almost equal, but they got separate sitting places (so don't get your hopes up). It is peaceful and silent like damp, and everyone make sure they don't create disturbance.
So make sure to keep it elegant, when you finally pay a visit ❤

I can't explain how my experience had been! So much good.

The library is so spacious and gives vintage vibes. Like it is a great place to study. Overall i am having a great experience there. I think govt. should open more libraries so that more and more people develop interest in studies or get into reading and enjoy their time studying because in my perspective, environment helps a lot in studying effectively.

If you have your own wifi device or just want to read a book, it a great opportunity for Model town residential and of surroundings.

Nice environment for both girls and boys , separate portion is also available for children. Air conditioned rooms

Excellent place for reading. A lot collection of Classic and contemporary books. I was amazed to see such titles on the same date as they appeared on Dawn reviews. Last days I asked an officer for the book of renowned politician Sheikh Rashid and I was amazed when he handed over the book from his side table in a moment. This type of Service only the Model Town Library may provide. If the book is not available in collections, administration manage it in shortest time to fulfill the needs of users. Love this place if you love reading

I go there for study, excellent and peaceful environment. Management is too cooperative, outside sitting is also good for aspirants.

It is a nice play to study in a peaceful environment but nowadays, due to covid-19, seating capacity has decreased from nearly 200 to 50 person. So, to occupy a chair, you need to be in library at 8 am.

In this little fees this library is providing prophetic help to readers
I’ve lately joined as a member and feel proud to have in my country such few places which survive to honour the cause of learning The staff is courteous competent kind and exceedingly helpful The environment and discipline you readers and the staff is world class I’ve visited libraries in U.K. U.S.A France and Iran and can safely say it matches high international standards especially the galaxy of expensive books it has is simply unbelievable

Well maintained library. More libraries should me made in the country because our country is quite behind in Education.

The place is love for css pms aspirants. Fragrance of books and book racks.

I spent a lot of months here. I feel very good to study here. Staff is cooperative. One of my home town (Sangla Hill) staff member Mr. Semab is very kind to me.

Best environment for study , but nowadays low seating capacity due to corona! 47 males can be adjusted there!

The Library isn't crowded like any other libraries in Lahore you need membership to use library and the system and environment is very professional
