The food here was outstanding. It came very quickly, the service was fast and efficient. The decor in the restaurant is beautiful and the waitresses are dressed in traditional outfits. I would definitely recommend if you want somewhere that serves traditional food.

Lovely place with great pirogi! Yesterday we had a superb dinner here. Anna, the service girl, was very helpful and recommended us 2 types of pirogi. Additionally I had the Bigos. Everything was delicious, hot and filling.
Thank you

Delicious flavors, great variety of traditional Polish food and service with a smile! You order at the cashier and she brings it to your table. 😍 The cranberry currant sauce was heavenly!

Great traditional and authentic Polish pierogarnia! Lovely, homey and cozy rural decor and ambience. Tasteful pierogies and the service was both phenomenal and fun. In Krakow I’d recommend the cranberry & black currant sauce to go with the pierogies as it’s a local variant. Overall you feel like you dine in a little local rural restaurant on the country side of Poland with just as cozy and fitting music in the background. Great experience! Happy I was recommended this place by my also Polish colleague. The prices and sizes of the dishes were nice as well.

A charming experience! Pierogies...like a plate of hugs on a cold night. Duck pierogies and cabbage rolls shared. We also tried the dipping sauces...garlic sauce with the cabbage rolls, sour cream and cranberry/black current with the duck. I would order bowls of sauce and eat them with a spoon! Flavors all around were fabulous! The meat fillings tasted great, but lacked texture; it was almost like baby food. Have since had other pierogies with the same texture, so I suppose that is how they are done. I do want to go back and eat again before we leave!

Genuinely the best Pierogi I’ve ever had in my entire life. It was life changing. I cannot recommend this place enough. Our favourites were the Ruskie and Chlopskie. Currently ordering the dessert ones. I love you Pierogarnia Krakowiacy, I will be back.

Staff was extremely friendly and happy to speak English! Everything inside makes you feel like you are in a traditional polish place. I only tried pierogi and both times it was excellent with good prices!

Amazing pierogi especially the apple and cinnamon ones with the sweet cream. We loved the food so much we can back the next day and ordered different dishes. The bigos and żurek were arguably even better than the pierogi we had the night before. You must try the beer as well if you come (go for the large glass you won’t regret it) ! Beautiful decor and old polish style food! Completely fuss free dining and the staff were lovely accommodating for both polish and English speaking customers, can only fault the restaurant being so small and they deserve more customers with food and service like this. Will definitely come back next time we’re in the area!

So tasty. A little pricey for Krakow but it’s in the center of old town and the vibe is really cool! I loved the pierogies. We got the top 3 options, because it was too difficult to choose I figured that would be safe. No regrets! It’s pretty fast paced in their. I wouldn’t say the staff was overly nice or anything but they were efficient and worked hard so much respect to them for being there and feeding everyone!

Super sweet place (was recommended to us), super nice atmosphere, very friendly staff, best pierogis in town (they are very well filled!). Also tried the Golabki rolls (outstanding taste!) and the Bigos (super cool, could have been a little saucier). Must try (we went there twice).

Must know: self service (but that‘s no problem at all)

Delicious dumplings and mushroom soup in a bread plate.

Dishes are brought out quickly.

The interior is decorated in the national Polish style.
The prices are normal.

Of the minuses: no wifi and a small list of drinks.

I could say the best pierogi i have ever tasted in Poland, i tried the one with mushrooms and cheese it was amazing.
I was lucky enough that day to try cucumber soup for the first time as well, it was the meal of the day, i absolutely recommend it, although the price is a little expensive but totally worth it

I had a late lunch here on my first day in Krakow (31 January) so there were only a few people in the restaurant. I had to have pierogi and where better than a venue that specialises in this traditional dish. Lucky I chose the smaller portion size (L) of 8 pieces as despite my hunger I was full after 3 or 4 and forced myself to finish them! I had the mushroom, cheese and onion filling which was one of their specials. Washed down with a polish lager, essential I thought, as the dumplings were a bit cloying. That is not to say they weren't excellent pierogi; I think I would prefer 1 or 2 pieces as a side dish rather than an entire meal of them but this is only my taste. The waitress was lovely. It is a self-service restaurant and this is why I scored 4*. Food came quickly. All for under £12 including tip. Definitely recommend Pierogarnia Krakowiacy. Dziękuję.

It's very touristy but the food is excellent and the waitresses are very friendly.
It's self service (we however got the food served to the table after ordering at the counter)
The room is very nicely decorated - probably in a classic polish style.
The waitresses also dress in some classical outfit.

Cozy and authentic place, dumplings are one of the most delicious I've eaten. There is a summer terrace

This place was great! Perfect polish vibe/atmosphere and delicious pierogi dumplings. Such unique flavors too and great quality. Also, price was so reasonable. I highly recommend this….better then any “chain restaurant” and the service was fast.

Cosy, filling and cheap self-service restaurant. The menu is quite big and once you've chosen, you order at the till. Portions are generous. We had the bread-bowl soup and 2 different types of dumplings. We were full by the end! Have at least 2 different dumpling types and share. In total it cost us £20, including a beer.
