Amazing view next to the window! Great atmosphere and the staff was very good!
We tried two traditional dishes and a soup for starter! Really tasty and worth visiting this traditional restaurant.

We enjoyed wonderful polish cuisine in beautiful surroundings. Our server (name translates to Jacob) was helpful, friendly and polite. He explained the interesting history of the restaurant and let us in to the side room and showed us all the stunning original features. I would recommend here to anyone visiting krakow

Hidden gem! We had a wonderful view from upstairs, enjoying régional wine and a lovely desert. Spectacular interior without being pretentious. Recommend !

We stumbled upon this place by chance and we're glad we did.

Because of the logo and the fact that it's hidden, you might think it's not worth it, but let me be clear: it is!

The decor is beautiful, absolutely stunning. The restaurant has been there for years in different forms and the building itself is from the 1300s.

When we arrived there was a lovely gentleman playing the piano, the service was extremely kind and helpful. The food was also very good and the prices reasonable. Oh, and the cheesecake is master class.

I'd definitely recommend visiting in the evening, since there's a clear view of the main square and the ambience is unbeatable! Superb!

Fantastic location overlooking the main square, Very tasty food and attentive staff. The restaurant is beautifully decorated and full of history from the local area. A must visit location on anyone's trip to Krakow. Highly recommended.

Excellent dinner! Cabbage roles stuffed with barley and mushrooms, duck salad done perfectly as well. The soup with kielbasa was a bit salty but this is traditional. Apple pie served with extra ice cream, which was appreciated. A few vodkas with apple and blackberry juice washed it down well. Good service to go with it.

Highly recommend this place! A wonderful experience with exceptional staff. Victoria was a kind and wonderful waitress but felt more like an instant friend. Definitely add to your list to visit.

Visited for New Year’s Eve. What a place, what a service… we’ve had the best NYE party in years. The food was simply amazing, the staff were phenomenal, friendly, and professional. If you happen to be on holiday in Krakow and don’t know where to go for a nice evening meal, go to Pod Gruszka. You won’t regret it.

I finally had made it to Krakow in 2012. I was supposed to visit the city in 1998 when my cousin and I were in a car accident. My father brought me to your restaurant when we arrived at the train station. The first place we went was your restaurant and had schabowy dinners. Very delicious and very fresh. We actually came back two more times before leaving for my dad’s hometown of Kutno

Spacious, not crowded, nice live music, and good food, good service. We recently enjoying this place very much for some board games and hot beer. We have been revisiting many times and will continue supporting.

Hidden gem! Stopped in for lunch and had pierogi, which was delicious. Lovely atmosphere and great view of the square from a cosy table. Anna was very accommodating and friendly 😊

Recommended by our hotel we had dinner here tonight. We can recommend it to everyone. Both the authentic Polish dishes and the more general European dishes are prepared with great care. The ambiance is very atmospheric with a beautiful view over the large market square. The pleasant live music from the pianist made it complete. You have to climb a few stairs, but then you also have a view. All this for a more than reasonable price.

The food was delicious, as were the coffees and drinks. All the staff were super friendly - especially the barman! Clear that they really enjoy what they're doing :)

We really loved this place!! We entered and there was almost no one there so that was kinda weird but I'm so glad that didn't hold us back. We had a very nice girl waiter us, and the food was delicious. The duck with pear is amazing and by west european standard really cheap. Amazing quality food and price quality. I would definitely recommend this place!

Place definitely worth visiting! We have ordered delicious meals and the waiter was really nice. They also have a great choice of local beers. If I come to Cracov again I am sure i will visit ,,Pod Gruszka" :)
