Be careful!!!... Inside trams and some buses you can pay ONLY with coins!!! in a city where you can pay almost anywhere at anytime with card;)... And the conductors are in cahoots with the drivers to hunt down tourists who don't have the coins and can't pay other way to fine them... The fine itself is not even too much, just 29€ (for not have a ticket that cost less than 1€;) but the situation can be very uncomfortable as these people use to be aggressive, not understanding (or actually they understand it too much;)... just another (ugly) way to get extra money...
