Kraków Zoo

The Krakow Zoo is rather small, but the variety is not bad. Sometimes the cages are too small. The zoo is very clean and the water in penguins reservoir is really blue and proper. We appreciated a lot the lemurs that are curious and come to see you and the small space for the night animals, it is the first time that i have seen this installation. The tickets price is the lowest I have never seen.

Great wee zoo, with a lot of really interesting animals. They are going through a lot of building works and investment just now which can only mean good things for future visitors.

There a lots of different animals from all over the world, I would plan to spend around 3 hours here in total to give yourself time to see around them all.

The petting zoo is great for little kids and adults alike, and it wasn't too busy when we visited and none of the animals appeared stressed or unsettled by the building works.

This is our third visit so far, and it's amazing each time.

Note: If you are coming on the weekend park, your car ny the oarking zone behind the bus station before going up to the zoo. Otherwise, you will get a ticket like what got.

This small, cozy zoo is a delightful visit. It houses essential animals in proper conditions, providing a great viewing experience. Although parking is a bit distant, you can conveniently reach the zoo by bus, using your parking ticket as a bus pass. A win-win for animal enthusiasts. Overcrowded at weekends.

Great place to spend time with family, especially with children. Zoo has many kind of animals, playground for children, little restaurant, but it's on the outside, and food isn't very good, bearing on the mind current price, one plus is that food is serve fast. It took us 4 hours when we through all of the animals, spent little of time with children on the playground and in restaurant. This zoo is not as big and as great as the zoo in Wroclaw for example, but it's good to have place like that in Cracow :) additionally around the zoo there are a lot of great place to walking, riding bike and so on.

Visited on the way to the airport. Great way to spend an hour or 2. The big cats don't come out when it's raining but still lots to see.

Reasonably sized zoo where they do appear to care about the animals wellbeing. Been there a few times now and there is always something different to see, and improvements being made.

New enclosures being added that are better environments for the animals. They do have some legacy enclosures from the 60s (or earlier) but these are no longer in use (they were the first time I visited)

The zoo itself is located a short distance from krakow city, and I have walked it before

Recommend going there by bus as whilst there is plenty of car parking, most of it is at the bottom of the hill and is about a 1.5km walk up ....

During week days, be prepared for school trips and lots of excited kids running around

Clean, a lot of animals

Small, but amazing zoo - it's territory it not the largest ever, but it is very nice, comfortable,clean, with plenty of plants. The collection of animals is interesting and various. The most popular are probably penguins. They are fed several times a day, the schedule is near, it's a real show. Children enjoy the contact zoo location with different domestic animals they can touch and feed, especially if there are cubs. The infrastructure is good as well - benches, several clean toilets, very basic fast food, sweets and ice-cream inside, zoo souvenir shop. The only issue is the general location in rather remote part of the city with not perfect public transport connection and parking rather far from entrance.

Really nice experience especially when having kids. We spend 4 hours exploring the animals. It is very nice that even in winter you can have access to animals indoors. Only downside is that some construction work was on and some animals were not available to see.

One of the pretiest Zoo, its good sized, we spend there 3 hrs and it was just fine. But be beware of little (none in nonseason) food courts, better to have lunch packed :)

It’s one of the best location outside of krakow city which takes approx 1hr by public transport (direct bus #734 every 15-20mins). Less crowded zoo with so many animals and birds. One good restaurant is outside of this zoo. It will take probably 1-2hrs max to explore all parts of it.

Beautiful place, clean, many different animals, cheap tickets. But remember that parking is 1.5 km before the zoo, so you'll need to walk a bit but it's totally worth it.

Very nice place , an ideal walk with the kids that can last almost a full day if you decide to eat there as well. The landscape is amazing inside and outside of the zoo.
Tip:book tickets online and waste your time on a long queue..

How to goto zoo:
1) Take Bus Number 734 or uber taxi
2) Entry fees is 28 PLN
3) Best time to visit sunny day else animals don't come out of warm places

Neatly maintained zoo with lot of animals birds, reptiles, mammals monkeys etc with all the information on board
1) All the animals look strong and healthy except tiger
2) Peacock dance is awesome

Other places:
Anyone can climb a mountain nearby and get a beautiful surround view

Very nice place, beautiful animals, especially penguins and flamingos.

A large zoo with space for children to run and play with animals through a fence or glass. Very informative. Just better come before 15:00, because you may not have time to look around and some locations close at 17:00. If you love pets, then hurry up. The child is delighted 😍

I have been coming here for years and this is one of my favourite places to relax and see some some amazing animals. On my recent visit here l was very impressive with the new Penguin 🐧 enclosure. The zoo costs 20 zolty and is easy to get to from the city using the 134 bus. I would recomend coming here.
