One of the three old mounds in Krakow, this one seems to be the meeting point of youth in weekends. The green meadow around the mound is excellent to just chill in the open or to have a picnic. A lot of joggers around too. The best part is the view of Krakow centre with visible historical sites. Far south, the Tatra mountains can be seen clearly in good weather.

If you're in Kraków, I highly recommend visiting. It is a little bit of a trek but it's worth it. The views around Krakus Mound are amazing and are even better on top, as you can see 360°

Krakus Mound is a captivating ancient structure steeped in myth and history. It is worth finding if you are visiting this side of Krakow Perched atop a hill overlooking Krakow. It offers free panoramic views of the cityscape and surrounding landscape. Legend has it that it was built by Krakus, the mythical founder of Krakow, and serves as a testament to the city's rich heritage. A visit to this iconic landmark provides a peaceful retreat and a unique perspective on Krakow's cultural roots.

Beautiful public mound. In a lovely neighbourhood. Sits next to a quarry which was a WW2 labour camp.

Could sit on the mound for hours.

Beautiful place! Pro tip - only follow the sign footpath, never ever climb the stairs.

It's really worth going to this place, you'll have a really cool view of the city, and it's 100% free.

This mound is free to visit and expansive with a surrounding park to walk around. Next to it there is also a trail leading to remnants of World War II structures. The mound can get crowded since it’s small but the crowd moves fast so you have your turn for a view of krakow which is a closer perspective of krakow than the one you get from the paid Kosciusko mound.

The slope was icy and slippy but there were nice views of the city from the top.

I love the views from this mound! I’ve gone twice during my visits to Krawkow. It’s free and located near a tram stop. As well as near a quarry that’s worth exploring around as well as an old cemetery. I suggest this place if you’re curious to explore.

I can only recommend this place if you are looking for an accessible place with really nice views of the city. If you are a tourist short on time and staying in the center for a weekend. I would not suggest going there because it's quite far and may not be the best thing to do in Krakow. But if you have some time, definitely go there, you won't be disappointed. Busses and trams are literally 10 mins walk away if you don't like to walk.

Such a beautiful place with an even better view from the top. I went during the winter after a few days of snow and I can't regret. Even though it can be a bit slippery and dangerous depending on what shoes you are using, totally worth going up on the top. To climb the mound itself there are some poorly made stairs which are used to both going up and down. I recommend coming here with a blue sky and not foggy otherwise there wouldn't be much to see. It's a totally free trip and there are bus and tram stops around which make things easier to everyone.
