Historic building which is interesting on its own, but also lots of explanation and about Jewish religion and culture. The oldest synagogue in Poland apparently. Entry was 18 zloty I believe. Visit would probably take an hour.

Only takes about 30 minutes to walk round and read all the material available. Signage is both in Polish and English. Very informative about Jewish religion and practices worth a visit if you’re interested in learning.

The oldest synagogue in Krakow and one of the oldest surviving synagogues in Poland. It is now a museum and you may only enter for a fee. Nicely restored inside and out. The interior is far more impressive than the exterior. There are exhibits on the history of the synagogue inside, as well as exhibits explaining Judaism.

Very special place. Used to be a place of worship and now it's a museum dedicated to wonderful Jewish culture, religion and traditions.

The chap who I purchased my ticket off, was absolutely lovely and very welcoming. He also spoke English which was great, because my Polish is non-existent unfortunately!
The museum is simple and informative and I gained a much greater knowledge about the Jewish Faith. Cheap entry fee for a privileged visit to the oldest synagogue in Poland. If you’re in the area, please visit the Jarden bookstore at the opposite end of the square, run by an absolutely lovely gentleman. Had a great experience here and would definitely recommend.

Of incredible historical value, this is the oldest synagogue still standing in Poland today. It houses a small exhibit on Jewish History in Poland.

Very interesting site and I think important to visit, given the lack of synagogues after the decimation of the Jewish population under Hitler. It is a lovely interior, and as a Gentile it was also just useful to read the detailed descriptions of Jewish customs and festivals, e.g. Purim and Passover. Afterwards take a short walk to Ariel restaurant to immerse yourself further in the Jewish experience....

On Mondays, it is free. Obviously worthy to see it. There are many things to learn inside and there is a good exhibition about Old Kazimierz. Old and today’s Kazimierz met on photos.

Close distance to Jewish festival and life in Kazimierz. The photograph show of combining the old and now of Kazimierz streets completely draws my attention. I crossed by several scenes in the picture already. I especially enjoyed the story of the iron store man. While his district becoming more dilapidated per day, he said and I quote “you need to be happy with what it is, because it always could have been worse.” Many other artists also noted their preferred corner and street, which directly served as classier travel notes to us. :) I also learnt about some Jewish festivals, rituals when people die, etc. Small details shed light to a day-to-day Jewish traditional way of living.

Went on a Monday which is free entry. A really lovely little museum with a lot of history and information about the Jewish religion and traditions. Outside there is also a very interesting monument in tribute to Jews that were sadly killed by the German Army during the occupation of Poland. A great place for learning and reflection.
