Spacious techinal museum in the heart of Kazimierz. Interesting topics for kids and adults. It is worth to visit, if you are interested in Development of tepegraph, Mass production, Industrial revolution, Post-war modernization etc. Time passes really fast due to interactive activities.

Definitely place you want visit during your stay in Krakow. Exhibition is designed in very attractive way, with just enough reading to not get you bored. You can also ask for audio tour (free of charge) that will give you most important information. Building itself is very accessible and well designed.

This place is amazing! I am a full-grown man and an engineer, but still, I spent 5 and a half hours in this museum! And only because we reached the closing time!
The technical collection is interesting, if nothing extraordinary, but the way they tell a story is very captivating.
Don't forget to check the trams shed 😊

I have been coming to Cracow for years and recently l decided to see what was inside of this musuem. What l found inside was amazing, the musuem was very well layout , the information was vast on the the history and engineering of Krakow/wider world and was only 35 zolty! I would highly recommend a trip here!

The museum is right in the centre of the city, with a lot of street parking around. It has a large collection of exhibits from different timeframes. Some of the exhibits are interactive, but I would not recommend taking small children, as there is quite a bit of walking required, and most of the collection cannot be touched. There is a lot of information provided about each piece. The ticket price is comparable to other museums and worth the cost.

A very interesting museum in Krakow! You can see the old trams of the city, olda cars of Poland, interesting things about the history of the city etc. It's fun for kids too! Every Tuesday it's free! You shouldn't skip it if you're in Krakow

Large museum, covering history of technical development from ancient and middle ages to early 2000s. It's a long visit, 2-3 h, because there's much to see and to do. And yes, they have interactive stuff inside, with mini experiments, which may be interesting either for adults and children. Unfortunately, despite fresh looks, a lot of those wasn't operating and needed service. Hopefully this will be fixed in the nearest future, because this place deserves best of attention. Highly recommended.

Absolutely fantastic museum, we came here as we had some time before visiting another museum. The exhibitions are very detailed, you can also get an audio guide which will get you through the whole museum. We only had 90 minutes to spend here so we didn't even get through half of it. I will definitely come back here to experience it properly and give it enough time.

What a great gem - we went on a spur of the moment decision, as the weather wasn't great and we had no plan. This place is great for kids and adults alike. Really modern, really nicely laid out and thoroughly interesting.

The first section has lots of interactive elements which teach some fundamental concepts, e.g. SI units, how electricity works, etc. Great for kids from 10 and up. Younger ones will have fun things to play with but some of it is a bit too advanced. You can spend 30-45mins in there easily.

From there, it gets much heavier and more detailed, taking you through key periods of engineering (ancients, middle ages, industrial revolutions, computing/ information etc). Better suited for adults and those going down memory lane, e.g. old CRT TVs, mobile phones (Motorola bricks, flip phones, BlackBerry's etc). Still good fun for kids but not as much interaction for them.

Also, the gift shop was really reasonably priced and you weren't forced to visit it (unlike places in the UK, you don't have to go through the gift shop to get to the exit).

Wonderful experience and suggested to everyone who is loving mechanics and engineering. It requires more than one hour to see everything, so take care about the hour when you go.

Pretty interesting technical museum.
Not a big one, I’d say medium-size, but has many interactive stations.
Good to visit both for adults and children.

Very interesting museum for children and also for adults. Big exposition - old polish cars, computers and mobile phones, typewriters, department dedicated to Système international d'unités - SI, etc. Highly recommend visiting.

This was more expansive than I expected. I thought it would be a bit boring and about trams but it was more about urban planning which I thought was very interesting. We stupidly arrived with only about 90 mins until closing. I think you need at least 3 or 4 hours to go through this place if you enjoy reading most of the displays. I'm surprised this museum isn't more well-known for this specific subject matter.

Excellent steel sculpture exhibition. When they tell you that you can touch and climb on the sculptures, they really mean it. Such a great and creative idea! And the level of intricateness with all the sculptures is amazing. Friendly staff who answered all of our questions.

A fun, education museum to visit - lots of interactive exhibits and it was free on a Monday afternoon. Lots of science, old electrical items and trams - worth a visit for an hour or two!

Actually a really good place. Visited it as a time killer during my trip, and was pleasantly surprised. Beside the usual exposition of old trams there was an interactive-physics related, supposingly for kids, series of attractions. Generally if you have a trip to Kraków, and have some spare time you should choose to visit this museum. Amazing photos and experience is guaranteed, and you will face absolutely no challenge looking for a good restraunt afterwards, it will be right next door.
