Wonderful mom and Pop restaurant that serves traditional Polish cuisine. Prices are good and service was fast with an extensive menu offered. The borscht is a must try and we really enjoyed the sausage and onions with fried chips.

We enjoyed the food and experience. Very traditional atmosphere with good Polish food in a traditional decorated restaurant. All you need if you’re looking for something local and authentic. Of couse, this is from my tourist opinion ;)

They had the best pierogis I’ve tried so far in Krakow!! I had ricotta and potato which were phenomenal and not too heavy, my dad got mushroom and cabbage which were also so yummy and hearty, and our friend got meat which I didn’t try but looked very good too. They all have butter melted on them and the actual dumplings were so good that butter was enough to enhance their flavor. We also got the tomato and potato soup, borscht, and fried mushrooms. Great service especially because we came in right before closing.

This is the place to taste and eat delicious polish traditional food. They have multiple traditional dishes in low prices. We had 2 plates of soup and 3 other main dishes we pay 25$ for all them including 4 big glasses of delicious traditional drink. Very friendly staff who explain everything to you about the dishes, how they cooked them and what ingredients they used. Strongly recommended

Lovely traditional polish food, menus in English, staff speak English. Good beer selection. Happy customers. Not huge in terms of space so bear that in mind if you're a large group.

Great polish home made food. I had pierogi with cabbage and mushrooms, my partner had schabowy z kopytkami. Both was very tasty in great portion sizes. The prices are really good considering its Krakow.

Literally the best pierogi I have had in my life. Feel like tasting history. Wonderful place, lovely atmosphere, feels like a proper granny is rocking the kitchen. Highly recommended! Great prices as well!

Kind service, good food. We went as tourist, and i didn't feel like it was a rip off. Didn't got extras that we haven't ordered. Really cool, modern service.

Cheap, tasty polish foods. I had turkey with mashed potato and coke, which cost only 23 in total. I’ll definitely visit again!

Best little restaurant in Krakow. Really cheap, big portions. You can find all the tradional polish food what you have been looking for. You can sit outside too. 40 zlotyi for 2 prs. / soup, main and drinks.

Some of the best Polish food I have ever had. They spoke Polish & English and were very kind! I've not often been to self service restaurants but it works so well here. The atmosphere is a little bit bland, however the wall of vegetables is a very lovely and original add. Overall a lovely experience and I would go again. Not overpriced and quite comfortable! I would argue some of the tables are little bit close to eachother, but the day we went was quite empty so that was okay.

If you want to eat local food at the best price in Krakow, definitely choose Polakowski. I stumbled upon this restaurant by mistake and it was the best mistake I have made. Be sure to order the Golabki (cabbage rolls with tomato sauce), delicious. Also, the Pierogi was most enjoyable.

Went years ago. It's excellent. Nothing fancy but it's good, hearty, traditional polish food. More importantly there is lots of it. Very unique decor and central. Reminds me of my childhood. Its just off the square and worth a visit.

A good place. Both local people and tourists. Home cuisine, quite simple, but tasty dishes. Portions are very big. It's better to order a half of portion (it's possible for most of menu).
