Stary Rynek Bakery & Cafe

One more place that I have walked past, looked in the window and thought it was not worth bothering with.

How wrong I was!

They have so many great cakes that you won't know where to start. Plus of course bread, rolls and baguettes for the regulars. And a good selection of coffees and teas.

I had ginger tea (herbata z imbirem) together with one eclair and one "Napoleonka" cake. In Kraków they call this, "Kremówka", but its the same thing here only bigger. The eclair was more chocolatey too.

I sat outside, though was not sure if that was a good idea due to the wind and light spring weather. But it WAS a great idea!

A great place that you have to visit!

UPDATE (almost one year later) : no tables outside this time, could have been I suppose, but not such nice weather today. But still loads of great cakes and more!

It is not a fancy place but it is pretty cozy.
+the place is very clean
+the workers are extremely polite
+the prices are good
+the place opens early
+there are many drinks and sweets

They make the best ham sandwich! We kept returnig to have it again and again. Of course their coffee and cakes were also very good but the sandwich was just perfect and freshly made every time! Highly recommended!!

Cakes and desserts are very successful. We drank hot chocolate and coffee, we liked it very much. Also 5 stars for service.

Dawno nie piłam tak dobrej kawy w tak dobrej cenie! Bardzo ładny wystrój, miły klimat. Obsługa na 5 z plusem!
Sernik z Brulee, jabłecznik na kruchym spodzie i słynne "orzeszki" to mistrzostwo.
Wrócę na więcej, zdecydowanie! ❤

Piekarnia i kawiarnia w Starej Oliwie, trochę na uboczu, w środku przytulnie, kilka stolików, przepyszna kawa i wypieki własnej produkcji, ja polecam Wam bułeczki maślane z wiśniami, smak dzieciństwa:)) można wziąć na wynos i przejść do Parku Oliwskiego tuż obok

Bardzo fajne miejsce znalezione przypadkiem. Pyszna kawa i jeszcze smaczniejsze wypieki. Polecam bułeczkę maślana z wiśniami, ale inne wyroby są równie smaczne.

Stary Rynek to moja ulubiona kawiarnia w Oliwie. Kawiarnia, cukiernia i piekarnia w jednym. W środku 5 stolików, latem stoliki na zewnątrz. Miła, sprawna obsługa. Można wejść z pieskiem. Ostatnio Panie sprzedawczynie same z własnej inicjatywy przyniosły mojemu psu wodę. Gucio chętnie skorzystał. Kawa smaczna i pyszne, świeże ciasta. Czasami robi się tłoczno, ale tłok szybko mija. Polecam.

Miła kawiarenka, mniej oblegana w tygodniu - stolik można zająć w dalszej części pomieszczenia. Smaczne herbaty z goździkiem, miodem, pomarańczą czy też imbirem podawane w wysokich szklankach. Mini tarta z owocami bardzo dobra.

Stary Rynek to cukiernia, sklepik i kawiarenka w jednym. Zawsze bardzo dobrze się tam czuję. Wchodzę tam że swoim psem Gustawem, który je tam lody. On też lubi to miejsce.

Fenomenalny stosunek ceny do jakości. Kawa dobra, ciasta też, wszystko w przystępnych cenach. Jest kilka stolików, obsługa miła i pomocna. Na zamówienie czekaliśmy chwilę, ale to chyba ze względu na panujący ruch. Napewno jeszcze tu wróce.
