The Cheder (Hebrew for “room”) is a small and very cozy café located in Krakow’s Jewish quarter, Kazimierz. Apart from various breakfast options, the café also offers a good selection of mezze, Hebrew coffee with cardamom and spices, delicious homemade lemonades and even Israeli wines. If you like, you can also sit on the cozy cushions on the floor. Once you have found a comfortable spot inside the café, you can order at the counter (self-service). Communication in English was not a problem; card payments are accepted. A very unique spot that immediately makes you feel at ease.

Great place with a variety of coffees and my favorite red cappuccino! You can eat a vegetarian meal or baklava, often serves kosher breakfasts. There are plenty of books about Jewish history. Very quiet and cozy place.

Very beautiful and cozy cafe. Sabih is extremely tasty with fresh vegetables and pleasant spicyness. Cardamon ice coffee is something interesting and not usual:)

First time there and I am in love with the place, beautiful, calm and relaxed. There were a lot of books in the bookcase, many of them in English or in German that the visitor could borrow and read while there. I had coffee with spices and baklava, both awesome. I also saw a mezze platter landing at a nearby table, and next time for sure we will order one together with a glass of their wines.

Favorite breakfast we've had in Krakow and the coffee was to die for! We had the shakshuka and sabih sandwich. The pita was fresh and warm, hummus super delicious and the shakshuka was excellent. The energy in the cafe is calm and relaxing. We were only bummed we found this place on our last day! Looking forward to returning and trying dinner! Definitely on our go-to list

We felt exceptionally fortunate to score a table here for brunch. The waitresses were very patient with us as we were tired from traveling and didn't know what we wanted. We were lucky enough to get the last Shakshuka of the day. It was our favorite dish during our stay in Krakow. The restaurant has a very cozy charm.

I love this place . I came 3 years ago and today, as I was a conference in Kraków, I made a special effort to find it . It was as charming as I had remembered - I had leek and feta on special bread with a rose infused lemonade . All delicious . A lovely relaxed vibe .

Beautiful and cosy restaurant, great and very tasty food, nice service and a DJ (on a Saturday morning).
Highly recommended.

I had breakfast in a Jewish restaurant for the first time in my life. It's frightening what I haven't seen in my life so far. You need to taste it. I will be back sometimes!

A highlight of a trip to Krakow. This is a hidden gem in the middle of the Kasimirez in Krakow, on one of the many charming streets with cafes, libraries and craft shops. The setting transports you out of time, to vintage nostalgia. From the relaxed seating areas and fresh, delicious Jewish cuisine, this is the perfect way to forget a busy life and take a moment to enjoy all that is good. Really helpful staff and a library of books all make for a special experience.

Very nice cozy café with Jewish style coffee and snacks. Went here twice because it was so nice. The "Jallab" had a nice subtle flavour, and the drink with rose jam was good but very sweet - also the rose petals may look nice, but are really not nice to eat and have to be discarded. The best thing to get here is the coffee with cardamom served in a finjan. It's also nice to grab a book from the vast bookshelves and sit down on the nice elevated carpet area. Overall a great place!

A typical jewish style cafe with traditional Israelisch coffee. It is amazing to see a lot of books in the shelves while you can at the same time read a nice book. In Krakaw its a must visit nice place to visit and enjoy this jewish quarter a experience this traditional way of serving coffee. The place also accept credit cards.

An amazing place to chillout on cushions and read books and articles about Jewish culture. The warm beverages are rich of taste, we also tried home made pickles, which are the great snack! And rose baklava is just amazing! One of our favorite places in Kazimierz.

Great tea, coffee and meal options in an amazing well decorated warm space. I advice you to order their menu highlight Finjan coffee with spices and something to eat as well.
The staff is really helpful and willing to advice you.

Cheddar has great Tea and coffee complemented by good service. The baristas are friendly and speak both Polish and English. They have a wide selection of great coffee and tea so there's definitely something for everybody.
The one I tried (Red latte) was really aromatic, creamy and slightly sweet with a bunch of spices that complimented the coffee.

Israeli coffee is excellent. Atmosphere is very relaxed, as is the service. Baklava is only ok, though.

Delicious hummus and olives. Also they serve a tasty merlot . Baba ganush is not so good but the atmosphere is ideal for a romantic night.

Delicious coffee and amazing atmosphere. Very friendly staff. They have both Arabic as well as Israel style coffee here (in addition to the 'normal' espresso, cappuccino and so on), costs like 9zl for 350ml which is more than enough for one person. Unfortunately when I was there I couldn't order the ayran because they didn't have a blender (anymore, I suppose) but the lemonade we ordered instead was very good as well.
