we came here because of all the nice reviews, and we weren't disappointed. We had mushroom soup, beetroot soup, fried pork cutlet, chicken stew, Polish cabbage rolls, and dumplings with spinach and cheese. They were all very flavorful and tasty, although the stew and pork cutlet were a little bit too salty to our palates.

The food is amazing. It's a big portion and very tasty!!! It's cheap and affordable restaurant and I totally recommend it! You will not find anything cheaper and more tasty than this one. The people working there are also very kind and the restaurant is also very clean. We stayed 3 days here and we ate all days here.

Absolutely beautiful polish food. Order from the buffet or off the menu. Very reasonably priced. We had roast chicken, tomato soup, cabbage leaves stuffed with rice and beef mince and crumbed pork chop. Delicious.

Food was pretty nice. I got pierogi with duck filling, found out later it was not in my taste but I could tell it was good quality and possibly home made(I found a small bone in the meat), after it got cold I realised it had a bit too much fat. The staff didn’t know quite good English so I found a bit of difficulty to order but eventually managed to. Overall good experience, cheap tasty traditional food.

You get a fresh quality of food!

Came here to try traditional polish cuisine, it did not disappoint me! I ordered bigos (hunter stew: a mixture of meat, sour cabbage & mushroom in wine sauce) paired with purée, and pierogi with strawberry fillings. The bigos was absolutely amazing, and it’s perfect for those who don’t like eating big chunk of meat.

Be aware the portions of each dish are rather big, so what I ordered was way too much for a person!

The prices here are more affordable compare to other family-owned-restaurants with long history, but the taste is just as authentic!

It was just excellent whether you were talking about price or ambiance or taste. We had "Pierogi sw. Tomasza" and "kotlet z kurczaka" and both were absolutely delicious. 😋

It’s such a family place with polish local dish. It’s a bit different to our cuisine i would say, but worth to try. The price is very reasonable and we had good time here

Known as a 'milk bar', this establishment is cheap and cheerful. Orders are taken at the counter, payment taken and you are given an electronic buzzer to let you know when your meal is ready. Good selection of meals with a different 'special' each night. Good atmosphere too with a farmhouse feel.

Excellent authentic freshly made polish food in a homey setting. Welcoming and very friendly staff. We already returned several times. Highly recommended.

Great value, traditional simple fare. Under £23 for two mains, a plate of pierogi, 2 beers and a lemonade. Order at the counter and receive a pager- return to the counter when it buzzes to collect your food. Maybe this is just for Fridays? Either way- delicious food. Filling and flavourful. Much better value than main square offerings

The Polish have a saying - if something is hard to find, you’ll need to find it with a candle in your hand. You could say to find good, traditional Polish kitchen around the main square in Kraków, a huge candle is needed - the amount of „typical, Polish restaurants have quadrupled in recent years. It’s good the „Tradycyjne Polskie Smaki” still exists - for very affordable price, offering what can still be considered traditionally made Polish dishes. I never miss it during my trips to my home town, and it never disappoints.
