Niepołomice Castle

Beautiful buildings in a quiet town off the beaten tourist path. Very relaxed meal in the castle courtyard after a visit to the museum. The park and gardens were great too.

After the restaurant re-opened it was time for me to give it a go.
I had the Carpaccio as a starter and then a steak as main course and i must say it was spot on. Very tasty, lovely presentation, a selection of different sauces for your steak, and although it is a more premium restaurant, they do have a place for kids to entertain themselves while mommy and daddy enjoy their food.
I will certainly be back for more.
I have just one point of criticism, and that's regarding the mexican appitizer we got before being served. It had nacho chips on it which had been sitting in the fridge. So instead of a crispy nacho it was cold and soggy. Get some new crispy nacho's and it's 10/10 from me.

Beautiful renaissance castle. Very nicely renovated.
Has beautiful polish artist Painting exhibition.
The animal exhibition is really good quality.
Possible to spend the half a day. With a walk trough the city center and spending some time in the park near castle.

Awesome history. My wife and I held our wedding reception there. The restaurant had excellent menu and food. The garden outside was well kept too. The parking was accessable for all and a close walk to the entrances. I highly recommend the spa that is located on grounds. First week of June is a festival so might be a good time to visit.

Castle/palace recommended for visit. Looks like Italian palazzo with inner court. Wonderful collection of canvases in gallery halls. Entrance cost app. 20zl per adult.

Good price for the time you spend and the things you see. The surrounding spaces are also beautiful. There is also coffee on front, which is really good.

Very nice food,With friendly staffs plus friendly Dog 🐶 definitely we will come back!

Niepolomice hunting castle is an impressive castle in Poland. I really loved every minute I spent there. The local guide there was excellent and I can't wait to take another group there .
I surely recommend this place. Kids likes it too,not only adults

The food is amazing with perfect decoration

It's a perfect place for a short trip outside of the city. You can easily get there by taking bus no.301. The castle and its surroundings are definitely worth visiting.

Great place for a wedding had an amazing time. The rooms are very warm with the AC on max you still struggle,but you cannot best the location and the history.

A fairytale place to host a wedding. The main square or the various basement spots are all amazing for having a party or wedding.
The food presented for the wedding is top notch. Staff is amazing.

if you wish to spend the night in a castle, but also kinda want to stay in a nice hotel with all its perks, lookno further :) lovely staff, great breakfast, spacious room with massive wood furniture, and all of that in a castle!

Beautiful place, not so many ppl. Forest near by. Also a hotel in the castle is very pleasant and affordable ~50€ per night. Highly recommended.

We recently had our wedding there and it was a "fairy-tale" like experience. The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful and worked tirelessly to make all our dreams come true; huge thanks to Mrs. Dorota Czopik and Mrs. Marzena Majewska. Our reception was in the cellars, and it was an extraordinary experience! Highly recommended for anyone planning a destination wedding (many people there speak English), family reunion or other party. Also, the Church of 10,000 Martyrs is a beautifully decorated Catholic Church located walking distance from the castle, perfect for a wedding. Choose this place, you will be amazed!

The Royal Castle in Niepołomice is called “the second Wawel” and was built by order of the Polish king Sigismund the Great. It had to serve as protective residence castle. Later castle was developed by Lithuanian grand dukes and Polish kings Jogaila, Sigismund the Old and Sigismund Augustus. Currently the castle is open to the visitors. In the castle chambers there is now a Nature Museum that is used to display the hunting exhibits of Włodzimierz Puchalski and from the National Museum. The facility is managed by the Foundation of the Royal Castle in Niepolomice, they organize recitals, concerts, shows, knight’s tournaments and other exhibitions. They also manage boutique hotel and state of the art conference center.

Small, but well maintained castle, worth a 1 hour visit.

Outstanding collection of Polish paintings, mainly from 19th and beginning of 20th century, including works of Chełmoński, Witkiewicz, and Wyczółkowski.

Beautiful palace, nice place to walk and relax 😉
