Recommended by a friend I came here basically knowing nothing an fell in love with this place! A wonderful piece of nature. You got a gorgeous forest, followed by an impressive view, caves, ruins. Absolutly wonderful. I'd have loved to spend another day here but if you're a good hiker you will manage the most important spots within a day aswell.

Great place for family and friends, you can Ren rooms at local hosts and at a hotel Kazimierz, multiple restaurants and bars around, perfect base for hiking and for biking. Wonderful in Autumn in sunny weather you see all colours on around you.

It's an amazing park to spend some active time outside. During autumn the colors of the forest are vibrant and different. We saw a lot of kids, dogs and cyclists. Also, a zone with restaurants is handy to drink something hot to warmup or have a fullsize lunch.

So beautiful! There are so many paths to walk and so many interesting things to see. Walking down peaceful paths you can find stands for refreshments or little restaurants. There are some pretty cool caves and beautiful fields and houses alongside big rock walls. There were also tons of snails when I went in late June, and wildflowers growing everywhere.

Fantastic place to visit. We didn't get to see everything as we underestimated the size of the park, but will definitely return one day to spend a whole day here. If you love history/ castle's/ nature and walks, then make time to go here, you won't be disappointed. There are restrooms and eateries dotted about too.

Ojcow National Park, a stunning place. I highly recommend taking the black trail down the mountain and the blue trail back up. This way, you'll get to experience a significant portion of what the park has to offer and encounter most of its highlights.

Keep in mind it involves a considerable descent and climb, so wear sturdy hiking shoes and bring plenty of water. The landscape is truly breathtaking, with impressive rock formations and lush forests that will captivate you. Ojcow National Park is a natural gem and a must-visit for adventure and beauty enthusiasts. I can't wait to return and explore more of this amazing park!

Had an awesome climb.
Wasn't too much a hill.
You could see the beauty of the city.
However you need to hold unto shrubs or tree branches around as you climb lest you slip.
There are some flat areas you can as well come with your dog.

Disclaimer: I am from a country with no mountains!

An absolutely beautiful, albeit a bit touristic, park close to Kraków. Within an hour you can go from the center of the city to this beautiful valley surrounded by hills and mountains.

With great roads making it easy to enter the valley, even when you're less mobile it is possible to go here (check which entrance you take in that case, the route by public transportation might be more difficult then)

Otherwise amazing routes, clearly indicated throughout the route itself, and many other hikers and indications where not to stand.

The maps at the beginning lack a clear point of where you're standing so it can be confusing at the start, but into the valley it's easier to know where you're at!

Absolutely stunning views that images can't capture, and amazing food that will replenish a famished adventurer!

Beautiful landscape and rusty leaves in autumn makes it even more beautiful. The walking trails are nice and easy to walk up and down. The dense trees adds a lovely flavour to the rocky background. The stream is a narrow one, near the dragon's den. A must visit while in Krakow.

The park is huge, enjoy a stay of at least 5 hours, or stay overnight at a hostel within the park. Great for photography, bike friendly, hiking for all levels, picnic spots available, entrance is free when you go to outdoor nature, but you must pay individually for parking the car, to enter castle, the caves, and other special sites in park. Food and drinks for sale at park center.

Very long walking track, after 40 min walking you reach some foods like freshwater fishes. I recommend this place If you have a long time in the day.

Stunning views. A nice place to escape from the city life in Krakow. We stayed there for about 4 hours. Plan your trip well, it will take you 1:30 from the Chapel Kaplica "Na wodzie" pw. św. Józefa Robotnika to get back to the bus stop. We were quite tired at that time so we decided to take an Uber.

Very nice place, full of interesting monuments of nature, mostly rock formations. Takes two days (at least) to visit it thoroughly but just a couple of hours is also enough to get the taste of the best the Park can offer. Only some routes are difficult, most of them can be done even by children. A must see if you want to have a break from visiting Cracow.
