Local Draisine Railway in Regulice

Nice and unusual way of short sightseeing which involves a bit of workout. There are courses of various length available. Longest one takes two hours. During the trip, there's a stop at a local vineyard. Views are nice and it's really fun, especially when going downhill 😉

We went here with the team for the team event and had a lot of fun. It is really nice way to reuse old railway and have it as a tourist attraction. Staff was very nice and we also had a winery tour. Will come back again with friends!

Nice service! You drive a handcar but you're pedaling. You drive on the old railroad. The route is approximately 12 kilometers long. On handcars there is also place for your stuff. There are 10 handcars in one column, and there is service in the first and last handcar.

Great fun attraction. Very nice men who run's the place with knowledge about the history of the trains. We took the 13.1 route . You need some strengths for paddling so might be a good idea to begin the day with that ride

Excellent place and activity. We took 11 km route. Pedaling is not hard at all - there were families with kids, and those kids were even able to pedal for some time. Amazing experience of rolling down the old railway tracks

You go on the rail-cycle draisine. First the route goes up-hill for around 3 km. This is the most challenging part :) At some point track ends, draisine turn around and you go back down-hill the same way. This is the part when you simply enjoy the ride :) If you go the longer route, like we have, you go past the starting point and go further down-hill for another 3 km or so. Then track ends again, you turn around and go back to the station at Regulice. Up-hill again but this part is much easier. Besides cycling on the fresh air and the views you also have a chance of seeing the local vineyard.

Both we and the children have enjoyed the trip and I highly recommend it.
