Castle Saltworks - Saltworks Museum Wieliczka

It's definitely worth a day trip from Prague.
You can buy a return ticket directly on the very nice & new air conditioned train from any of the stations near prague.
Make sure you also do the 2nd bit of the tour to the museum, which is included in your ticket. Gives you a real history of the mine & mining. The guides are excellent.
Check out the cathedral & grab a snack on your way back after leaving the mine.

Nice place to visit

Didn't actually go into the museum (based on the reviews of others) but enjoyed the gardens and the tower ( both free). Worth a quick visit if you're in the area.
