Really nice place to have a walk and learn more about Kościuszko and his story as there is a very little museum bit before the mound itself. Which considering I knew nothing about him before hand, taught me what I needed to know. The mound has great views and is t really a lot of walking so the whole experience doesn’t take that long but was very enjoyable

Very nice place. We chose to walk up to it from our hotel which was an hour walk when we got there we wish we had taken the bus to the actual mound it decided to walk the rest of the way. We wish we had taken the bus up. It was actually a nice walk up and plenty of benches to rest but was made up when we got there as there was a small cafe for us to have a minute and a drink before going to the mound. It was a nice walk up and wasnt that bad to walk very quick to get up but still a nice place to visit. The view from the top was brilliant. When we came down there is also a place to get food which was also nice and the food was good. Also with nice views.

Such a nice place for picnics and hang out. It’s less touristy and you can get a good view of the city while you relax. It’s about 15mins or more walk from the last tram stop.

very nice view of the Krakow skyline, on weekends there are a lot of people and queues at the ticket office, parking for regulars is easy to find. you can enter by bike, but it requires good mobility. on foot also without any problem. What is very interesting is that there is a nice restaurant next door, which also has an interesting view and is not crowded. on hot days you can buy a frappe / iced coffee and feel very comfortable and pleasant

And worthwhile trip just outside of the center of Kraków. Outstanding 360 degree view. Great perspective of Kraków.
The museum is extremely interesting. I remember studying American history and the Declaration of Independence. But had no recollection of reading about Kościuszko and how prolific he was in helping build forts. And other accomplishments during the mid 1700s.

Walked to the mound from the castle. Steep steps near the end. Didn't go up the mound as the views from the panorama cafe on site were excellent

Nice place. Maybe we do not know the historical significance, yet it is worth visiting in Krakow. Beware of wind, it could fly you away from the top to bottom (kidding) 🤣

Lots of history to learn about here, but for me the selling point was the incredible view across the whole of Krakow, in almost 360 degrees. Definitely worth the entry fee and the effort to climb. Would especially recommend for a sunset.

Kopiec kosciuszki is a very particular fortified mound that is surplombing the city of Kraków. In fact, from the top of it you can see the city having a view like no one else has except, maybe, few birds. It’s very original and uncommon to have preserved such a typical infrastructure from the knights era in a megalopolis like that. There are buses that drops you in the closest neighborhood and then you have to climb on foot a bit. The entrance to be able to see krakow from the top of the hill isn’t free however, but cheap enough you should plan that during your trip. Going to the top takes a bit of courage, I don’t recommend for people afraid of heights, especially because the road that goes to the top isn’t secured sideways. If you slide, you fall. It’s as simple as that. Like during the era it has been built. That’s why is better to limitate to a number of persons maximum allowed on the top of the mound at the same time. Crossing people while climbing and others going down can be tricky because of that, but the view is definitely worth the way up

There's a spot near AGH University that's perfect for a casual walk. It offers a variety of routes to explore. I've taken the wild path and am visiting frequently.

Great place, though it's a little far from historical center. On the top of a hill you can see the entire Kraków (though it can get quite windy up there). The museum's exhibition was also interesting.
The ticket includes an entrace to the top of the hill and a museum about life of Tadeusz Kościuszko.

The road to the Kościuszko Mound leads through the forest, so you can walk, it's nice and cool because the trees cover the sun.  If you go by car it's shorter of course but we had a great 20 min time walking !
So when you get there, on a clear, sunny day, the views from the mound are stunning! You can see panoramic views on Krakow and mountains. You will also visit the museum and learn about the history of Kościuszko Mound in a nutshell, affordable ticket prices. Inside the museum a very nice cool temperature considering that it was very hot outside.  After sightseeing, time to rest, there is a restaurant/café where you can have lunch, iced coffee, something sweet, beer or whatever you prefer, good selection.

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

Kościuszko Mound isn't just a vantage point, but a journey through time and perspective. As you ascend, each step brings the breathtaking beauty of Krakow closer, unfolding panoramas that encapsulate the city's rich tapestry. The summit offers an unparalleled view, a silent tribute to the spirit of Krakow that echoes in the winds. However, the surprises don't just stop at the vista. The on-site museum adds a layer of depth to the visit, intertwining history and culture in an immersive experience. Krakow's allure lies in its multifaceted charm, and the mound stands as a testament to this, offering both visual and intellectual delight.

In our journeys, whether exploring cities or self, it's essential to have various perspectives. The view from the top often provides clarity, much like how proper guidance can illuminate our paths. Such a beautiful place with magnificent views . You have the amazing Kopiec but around it you can also go for walks . It's very peaceful and gorgeous . It is uphill so pay attention to it if it's something that's difficult for you. You can go by car or by foot . It's totally worth it to do it by foot on a sunny day because you can appreciate all the views from different angles. We had a family pass for 40zł which is around 10€ for the 3 of us .

Great location for a view over Karkow, with cafes and restaurants readily available around it. We did have to wait about 20 minutes, but I assume this was due to it being a bank holiday! Exhibitions are also available in the fortress. If you are visiting Krakow I would recommend coming here!
