Small but very compact new airport with all latest technology facilities. There’s are plenty kids zone that makes your stay calm and relaxed. Also different sitting areas there you can stay private and comfortable. Many places for charging your phone and even they have special charging station for phones if you don’t have your own charger. Security and passport control went well and quickly. On the second floor there is separate zone for renting car, where kids and family can stay and wait without interruption. Parking is connected with airport too, taxi are wait g outside is separate zone.

A good experience. Queues went quickly for passports and baggage claim was fast.
Directions to the train to city centre are good.
Ticket machine at station only taking correct money.
Got on board bought ticket from a revenue inspector got a discounted ticket for over 60.
A dusting of snow as we arrived.

I adore how all public places in Poland equipped for a travel with kids. This airport provides zones for families with kids which are catching, entertaining and educational at the same time! Highly recommended) Coffee and food was also delicious at the nearby to the kids zone cafe!

Very efficient airport. Very good for acknowledging the sunflower lanyard too. On arrival a young man greeted us straight away and directed us into the correct line.
On our departure- Feb 8th 2024 evening flight 9:15pm
The lady on special assistant was very helpful and professional.
At first we mistook her for being rude but she was lovely and incredibly helpful. Guiding us all the way to the plane putting my brother at ease for the journey.
I cannot remember her name. I think it began with an A but hopefully it is fed back to her about the excellent service.
Thank you for a pleasant evening before our flight.

This is a very nice, spacious and extremely comfortable airport. From here it is very convenient to get to the city center and other places. The train option is especially charming. And it's incredibly easy to buy tickets. It was very cozy to be here. Inside there are nice cafes with very good staff, but the prices there are just very high. I would like to mention separately the exchange rate of the local currency. It is generally unacceptable and shockingly unfairly bad to the customer.

For a city of less than 1 million residents, I found John Paul II International Airport Kraków-Balice to be very nice, well-appointed and most importantly, the food was great! :-)

As a Cracow citizen I can say that our airport is one of the best in Poland, because of it’s size and location, because airport is located on the outskirts of the city and it’s connected to the city by a train and southern bypass (A4). Airport has some playground areas for children and some cafes. However, I think that airport should be bigger, because passport control desks are always crowded regardless of the season. There’s also Hotel connected to the airport by a sky bridge. For avgeeks, there’re two spotting points at the airport.

Spotlessly clean and welcoming, and for many its the first view of Poland. So a good example of what to expect. Enjoy the friendly people of Poland and everything it has to offer. You won't be disappointed.

Security filter is very efficient. The airport has a nice IQOS store where you can buy devices and consumables.
Food is super bad in general, have lunch prior to get into the airport :)

Krakow should be very proud of their airport. We did not need to check-in as we only had hand luggage and found security to be fairly quick. We had plenty of time to enjoy the duty free shops and found that there is a good choice of places to eat with good quality food; something that you do not see in many airports around the world. All facilities had prices in the Polish zloty so we used up our remaining Polish currency. Toilets clean with little queuing.

Best airport since the refurbishment, I've seen how it was transformed over the 10 year period as I travel to krakow every year to see my in laws. Very modern I must say and plenty space in cafe and also has Hilton hotel just on the door step in case of flight cancellation. Plenty parking and take the passanger bridge connecting to the terminal directly if you park in the multi story car park.

Very clean efficient airport. Good number of seating areas, but never enough to accommodate everyone. Phone charge points available, either eu plug sockets or varied cable stands.
