I like the shape of this store - it's like a tube, and you can walk all the way to the end. They also have some couches you can sit for a while. I was happy that there was even have a small section for books in English. You can buy almost all your christmas presents here - they have book, toys, vinyls, games, chocolate and other sweets.

This Empik bookstore occupies the space of what allegedly used to be one of the oldest bookshops in Europe. The bookstore has a good selection of books for readers of all ages and interests. They also sell newspapers, magazines, stationery, board games, and all kinds of interesting souvenirs. The staff was very knowledgeable, helpful and friendly. The space is quite quirky and unique

The customer service was really great and helpful, especially since I was not able to speak Polish. A young woman was very attentive when I explained what kind of a gift (wedding card) I was looking for and went so far as to translate notes written in cursive Polish inside the cards (my Google Translate app wasn't working ). With the help of her, I was able to buy a beautiful wedding card for my friend's wedding. Definitely recommend this store to others. Cozy reading areas and floor to ceiling bookshelves that are neatly organized, a really comforting and inviting environment. 👌🏽👍🏽

One of the oldest(if not the oldest)and the best bookshop in Krakow with super friendly and chatty staff, and comfy armchairs(if one wants to look at the book or album),and great selection of books. Right at the back the bookshop displays few glass cabinets dedicated to Wislawa Szymborska Nobel Prize Winner ,but also in the front room proudly promotes books of Olga Tokarczuk the current recipient of Literature Nobel Prize.

Amazing shop. The area with the polish winners of nobel prize is very nice. For sure will visit more the space for reading.

Empik jak Empik - oceniam miejsce, w którym się znajduje. Uwielbiam księgarnie z historią, a ta wg informacji przed wejściem jest jedną z najstarszych w Europie 😍
Super klimat w środku. Ostatnia część - sala poświęcona Szymborskiej - to mnie ujęło najbardziej. I są miejsca do wygodnego posiedzenia 😊

Zdecydowanie najładniejszy empik w całej Polsce. Obowiązkowy punkt w Krakowie dla miłośników książek. Wnętrze księgarni wywarło na mnie ogromne wrażenie, bardzo polecam.

Niesamowicie przytulnie i klimatycznie urządzony Empik. Jeszcze takiego nie widziałam. 🤩 Świetnie zaopatrzony w fantastykę, a jego przytulność i klimat sprawiają, że nie chce się z niego wychodzić.
