Follow the signs to Restaurante Sergio. They have a fixed price 20 euro menu that includes a mix of starters, an entree (you can pick from a few fishes or meats) and a drink. The starters probably vary by day but today it was prawns, mussels, pizza and spicy pork. The starters were so large I couldn't possibly eat them all. Then came a giant fish entree with potatoes. They charge an extra 5 euros to split which I would highly recommend since it's plenty of food for 2 people. At lunchtime the place was filled with groups of locals, plus a few bikers and Camino hikers.

I hope you’re hungry. This is the most food I’ve seen for 10 euros. If you are a couple - consider sharing. We had the ribs and chicken. With the appetizer and side dishes it could have fed us three times over. Pro Tip - save room for desert. Cash only.

It's a crazy place worth visiting. They have huge portions and are extremely friendly although the local itself is a bit dirty and the atmosphere might be too much if you are used to good, expensive restaurants. Still after an hour we really started enjoying it all and if you sleep in this town it's a must visit restaurant in my personal opinion

I didn't know there was a restaurant like this here. From the top of the range to bullfighting, here are the restaurants we've been to. It felt good and great. The serving manners of the staff, who are not food thieves, are also the best information. If you want a little peace of mind, this is the place. You will soon discover the charm of this special restaurant. If this is your first visit, please order the menu of the day and show the staff the rest.

A few things could have made it better:
- give folks a menu. The language barrier makes it very difficult to know what the options are, and no attempt was made to communicate them.
- instead of bringing me an orange I didn’t order, offer home-made desserts.
- wait for customers to order a coffee rather than going around with a tray of them. Inevitably these are not piping hot by the time they make it to a customer
- have someone greet you when you come in. I had to make quite a bit of effort to know what was going on.

Good place for Pilgrims, the menu is great value for price, with just 20€ you have a few starters (bacalhau croquettes and shrimps), then the main (to choose from many fish and meat options): in went for the fried bacalhau, cooked in the oven with potatoes, served with a side of beans. Chocolate dessert, a medium jar of vinho verde, and a coffee.
Fast service, very friendly and welcoming, payment only via cash.

It is unbelievable how much food you can get for 15€. Drink, appetizer, soup, main and even desert. But the best part is, that the portions are like 3x bigger than usuall restaurant. This is the best restaurant experience so far. Food was so good.

This place was a really pleasant surprise after a long walk on the Camino de Santiago. We ordered the vegetarian menu and were surprised about the good quality (and quantity) of the dishes! We met Tomas, the young and very talented chef who was very enthusiastic and generous!

All in all we can really recommend this place to anybody, pilgrim or not. And don‘t let yourself be deceived by the rather unspectacular look of the place. Very good food for more than fair prices!

I love abroad restaurants where local people eat. This is one of unforgettable ones. A lot of delicious food for moderate price. If you want to eat only a little then don't go there.

The menú is 15€ and it is crazy the amount of food you get with it. Starter, salad, main plate, drink, dessert and coffee. Unbeatable!

The meat was grilled on point and it all tasted really well

This has been the best food, service I have had on the Comino ! I can not rate this place high enough ❤❤❤❤ absolutely value for money as well. I never do reviews I 100% recommend.

This is an miracle in the middle of the Way. May be one of the best lunch menu. Huge portions, a lot of meat, fast service. And the price is 6 Euros pp.....Stunning surrounding.

Great place to stop by for lunch while on the Camino. Simple yet tasty food, lunch specials are served around 12 pm. The place is a bit crowded by locals, which is a good sign for me

I think this place might now be called "Restaurante do Sergio". In any case it seems to be the only restaurant in town. I came in very late and was the last guest. Still I was received heartily and felt very welcomed. The waiter was very attentive and I was quickly served.

The food tasted very good. I was offered a choice between cod (bacalhau) and meat (posta). The posta was the best I ever had in Portugal. It was seriously that good.

I received mussels and shrimp as starter which were delicious and fresh. A drink was included in the fixed menu, as well as a delicious dessert and a coffee.

I think the value is very good. I paid 20 EUR. The food was very plenty.

The restrooms are downstairs and were very clean as was the whole restaurant.

For 15e I got 4 courses and a drink included. The food is good quality and it seems like my moms cooking. Loved it!

The crowning glory in the village is Restaurante do Sergio. It's literally the best 15 euro I've ever spent in a restaurant. Unfussy, delicious food! We had great starter (prawns, salad, bread, olives) and, for the main, the most generous serving of melt-in-the-mouth lamb served on a large bed of perfectly cooked potatoes. The doggie bag I took back absolutely set me up for breakfast the next day! The hosts were lovely, warm, and their English was very good, and the cook and waitress are a lovely Indian couple who were super kind, too.
