This restaurant is a place where Portuguese family cooking tradition combined with excellent service and nice vibes. Carlos and his brother are both great hosts, as well as their mom is a talented chef who cooks yummy food. You would love this place right from the beginning. Delicious dishes, good design with plants and beautiful view of square will make your stay unforgettable. Highly recommend to visit and try. As there is a fish market nearby, you will definitely eat fresh seafood. We ordered seafood rice with vegetables and really love it. Enjoy your stay!

Really enjoyed dinner in this restaurant, really nice food and drinks (I recommend the sangria) Staff were really knowledgable about coeliac disease and showed me the gluten-free items on the menu. Location is stunning too.

Amazing cod, terrific service and a very well run restaurant.
My husband and were in the city for the day and after a google search found this restaurant as it did not have the bad reviews other similar restaurants had. One reviewer said the portions were very large so we opted for one salad and one main course of cod with onion, red peppers and mashed potato. Our server suggested this main course and indeed it was excellent. Fresh, hot and enough for the two of us. He also recommended the wine which we thoroughly enjoyed. Our server spoke fluent English which was helpful.

A lovely place to have a good meal

Huge and tasty meal, peices are okay. Personal ist super friendly. After the Huge meal, we asked for spirits because It was so much and we got 1/6 botlle of some ice cold Spirit. Tasted Like sugar Cane

Really one of the best experiences in Viana do Castelo. It was full and we needed to wait about 30 minutes (the manager called us by mobile) but it was worth it.

The "Bife à Tasquinha" was awesome and it could serve two people. I've also tried the "Francesinha" both traditional and the vegetarian and the sauce was delicious.

For sure it will be one of my usual spots in the future when I come to these locations again.

In my option, one of the best restaurants in Viana do Castelo. Seating can be pretty limited specially during dinner time.

This was the only place we found with vegetarian options. But the francesinha we had was AMAZING! the staff also was super friendly
