Restaurante Taj mahal

Hands down the best Indian restaurant in central Portugal. The staff are super friendly, food is fantastic (if you like it spicier than most, like us be sure to let your waiter know).
We absolutely love Taj Mahal and will keep coming back!

Came from Évora to eat at the best Indian restaurant in Portugal, and was not disappointed! Friendly staff, great food, even if you don't like spicy food.

Wow, just a great surprise! Really tasty food cooked with a lot of care. They grow their own vegetables just outside the restaurant. Tandoori chicken was served with a fantastic tomato relish. They also served a green chili and mint relish to die for. I will be back in a couple of days to taste more if their dishes.

Lovely and authentic Indian food. We lived in India for many years and it was a great experience to come back to India for a moment. Great service from Ms. Joana Darc!

A bit out of the way but well worth the effort to visit this amazing Indian restaurant in a tiny village. Chicken tandoori was really sizzling! Surprisingly busy for a Monday but there is a large capacity. Very friendly service. Will definitely be back when we are next in the area.

Literally the best Indian food we have ever tasted. Staff so friendly and welcoming. Reasonably priced. Worth the drive, however far you have to come.

The soups & medicinal teas at this place are to die for, literally. Ideal for when one is feeling under the weather & don't fancy a full blown meal.

I think this is the best Indian food in Portugal.The service is excellent. we had vegetarian basmati rice. Chicken Vendaloo, and vegetarian Vendaloo all were excellant
The atmoshere was great, we had lunch on hallween and the place decorated to the max. they were hae a hallween party that night.
