Camping Olhão

A large but very pleasant campground, with lots of clean and we'll maintained toilet/showers blocks, each of which also has black and grey water disposal points, as well as clean water to fill your tank. There are a variety of recreational facilities including pool, tenis courts, hard surface footie pitch and children's play areas. The price is very reasonable in the off season, 12 euros per night for autocaravana with 2 people and electricity. It is also very convenient for town, only about a 30 minute walk, and the town itself is very nice. We'll ve back in the spring.

Clean restrooms, no toilet paper but they make up for it in hand paper and soap.
Didn't have the chance to use the pool or the restaurant.
Lots of shade and trees for the rope tying lovers.
Recycling and trash bins every where, so there weren't any foul smells.

Very good camping. In November, there is soo much people. In summer, i guess is full all the time, call before you go

Lovely check in staff. Very nice pitch. Everything you could need. Washing machines, plentiful toilets and hot showers, tennis courts, swimming pool in season, 2 cafes, TV room and library. Very well kept.

What a find, after leaving Spain, this is refreshingly well priced with all facilities you could need. Hot showers, 2 restaurants, shop, plenty of washing facilities and large plots to park in. I paid 14€ for 2 nights for one person and a dog, plus camper car. Didn’t need electrics.

Excellent camping site, clean, and personnel very kind and welcoming. We came initially for one night and we stayed three nights to visit the islands. The site is a bit far from the city but a bus line or taxi (4€) will take you to the main spots in town.

Great place clean and cheap, close enough to town and all that comes there. The restaurant serves great food and drinks. The on-site shop and cafe are well stocked with good opening times. Shower and toilets are clean and very usable.
The downside is the WiFi it's free but rubbish for streaming, you even struggle to get photos on Facebook to show up.

Can't knock this site, it exceeded our expectations. I guess it might get packed in high season but for us, there was plenty of space, lots of trees for shade and it was very calming. Huge pool and other sports activities available. Toilet and shower facilities also very good 👍

A short bike ride into town. We'll definitely go back if we're in the area.

This is one of the best camp sites we've ever stayed at in 20 years of motorhoming. The services, I.e. chemique, grey
water discharge and fresh water intake are very easy and the showers are clean. The supermarket is very comprehensive and well stocked. The staff are very friendly and helpful. At 21.50€ a day, with electricity, it's excellent value. We shall be back!

Very nice camping ground. The staff is very welcoming. The facilities are clean and with hot shower. The camping space for our tent were cosy and there is security to make sure that everybody respect the silent hours. Covid-19 related nothing to say, everything is secure enough except that some facilities were closed ( the kid park and leasure room) but it wasn't an issue for us. The swimming pool is big with a garden all around where you can put your towel and chill.
++ there is a mini bus driving you to olhão if you don't want to take your car

We came for 1 night but ended up staying over a week. Every member of staff were friendly, polite, smiley and very helpful. We will definitely come back.

We stayed at a 2 bedroom casita (like a trailer). Super recommended for a low cost high quality stay in the south of Portugal ( very clean restrooms, toilets, and a great pool). Kids friendly❤

Pretty, green site. Good sized plots. Lots of shade. Quiet.
Plentiful facilities,  (water points, clean hot showers and toilets).  Helpful staff in reception and bar/restaurant

Wonderful camping. Very big with all the services: big and semi-free pitches, always near toilets, water and garbage, good access to the pitches, swimming pool, supermarket, cafe and restaurant. Next to the Ria Formosa natural park and to Olhão, ehere you have all you need. Good communication to the rest of Algarve and other parts of Porugal.
Good international atmospheare and respect of sleeping time (calm and silence in general).
We stayed in Easter and occupation was around 50%-60%.
It was great.

We spend one week in April and pay less than 10 EU per night. Staff is very friendly, toilets are nice and clean, hot water for showers is available all day and you can choose the pitch. There is possibility for some bike trips nearby or visit famous fish market in Olhão.

Beautiful camp site, established gardens very clean facilities. Swimming pool, tennis court etc.. etc... Great night sleep, cheap 12 euro for roof tent power *2 people. Can't wait to come back 👍🍺☀

really good camping ground, organised very well. fair prices.
but super busy in season. next neighbours are really close.

Love the quiet environment and the good playground for kids, adults and 🐕.

Great place as starting point to see Algarve district, as well great as place to rest in good quality bungalow and spend free time, with their own super mercado, cafè, restaurant and swimming pool. Very nice people, clean and generally awesome :-) muito obrigado, greetings from PL

My wife Eileen and myself spent a couple of months here over two winters 2019 and 2020 before we we had to go home to Ireland,the staff on this site were fantastic at reception shops coffee and bar so friendly 😀 and helpful,the facilities on this site were excellent to,and very good value for money,first year we arrived we were going to stay for a day or two,we stayed a month second year we stayed two month's just love Olhao,hope to see ye all again winter 2021.cheers best wishes ❤ for now Peter and Eileen Allen Cork Ireland 🇮🇪 😀 👍
