OK this is very rustic but just feels traditional Alentejo, Maria and Manuel can appear a bit abrupt but just use google translate and try to be friendly and they are a lovely old couple.
The meal is basic cocked on a homemade barbecue but very very tasty, Porko Preto was beautiful, The price was €39 for 2 meals along with bread and olives, beer and a carafe of wine, we stayed over alongside the restaurant in our Motorhome, hope to do the same again in the future.

Lovely place peace quiet and nature.
Since we were last here in 2016 the water level has dropped massively, perhaps 20 metres as can be seen by the marks on the tower

Juste parfait, vraiment le Portugal profond. Cuisine simple et faite maison, cadre magnifique. Je recommande vraiment malgré les gérants un peu rustre mais vraiment gentil.

J'ai adoré cet endroit ( 3x que j'y passe ) . Aucune interdiction de se poser en campingcar. Le petit restaurant qui surplombe le barrage, chez Maria et Manuel, deux retraités, cuisine simple mais délicieuse, à commander à l'avance. Belles promenades dans le barrage, que je n'ai jamais vu au dessus de 15% de sa capacité en eau.
