Very good food for a cheap price.
Nice menu with different choices, we have been there twice and both of the time we were really satisfied.

Fantastic setting, service and food are second to none, we have returned every week since discovering the restaurant. Highly recommended.

I looked at the reviews on here and thought I would pop along. The food was just so delicious and the guys working there were lovely. I had tooth ache, so eating was slow going, but I still managed half of everything and had the other half for my lunch today. Just as good cold as hot. Thank you so much guys, sorry for being such a slow eater. Oh warning when they say the red sauce it hot, it really is. Made my eyes water. Thank you so much for the food and service. You are all stars. Btw to any single females, who may worry about eating alone, dint, do go and try this menu, it's well worth it. I even got given cloves to help my tooth infection lol

Excellent indian restaurant in a nice and quiet place. Service is efficient, fast and with nice manners. The food is having a real taste of India, not too much in western way.

Had a lovely lunch at Shiva Indian restaurant in Torres Novas today - at the river. Delicious chicken korma, garlic naan, chicken tikka masala, basmati rice, samosas to start (yum! 😋), comp poppadoms with sauces, half a litre of house wine, water, and comp mango mousse and anise to finish - €31! Excellent and friendly service as well. We highly recommend if you're in the area.

Popped in for lunch, and had a fabulous meal. Super service, welcoming, friendly and we were still eating after they had closed as we had our baby with us (7 weeks) no rushing us. Amazing! sorry for the lack of photos but between being hungry and looking after baby, we forgot! Next time. See you soon. Thanks 🙏

Welcomed very nicely, food came quite quick and was delicious. Proper Indian food, just like in India, and price are very fair. I highly recommend Shiva restaurant for anyone that wants to travel to India without taking a plane 😁

We spent not only a lovely day in Torres Novas but had also tried a (never before visited) restaurant. Located at the foothill of Torres Novas' castle, overlooking an idyllic water body is the Indian restaurant called "Shiva". We'd ordered palak paneer and vegetable (sweet) korma, together with naan, roti and rice.
The friendly host Dipak recommend some mango pickle, which we gladly ate together with the other yummy tasting dishes.
Not to forget to mention the delicious mango lassi, an absolute must (as per my humble opinion) to round up an Indian meal.
We both can happily recommend Shiva as a nice place for replenishment of Indian cuisine.

Delicious, friendly, accommodating (no dairy or hot food.) will be back! Lamb a d chicken and the mixed starter. All wonderful😊

The food was delicious and not only with great portions, but great presentation as well! The service was very nice and thoughtful as well, even giving a considerate opinion on the use of the spicy sauce so it wouldn't overwhelm us during dinner. Will return and highly recommend it!

Nice quality and good location

Really nice find! Me and my girlfriend were really surprised about the quality of the food and the service is also excellent the owner is really nice and the food is the best indian food me and my girlfriend had ! The butter chicken is amazing and the pistachio ice cream for the dessert is MAGIC!!

This is just a place to enjoy. We have eaten Indian food all over the world. This is one of the best ever.

We had dinner for two and the service was quite good. The waiter made sure everything was perfect and made repairs for a problem with had with the lassi.
The food tasted very good and the price was not high.

Delicious dinner with very friendly service. One of the better places to eat. We will be back!
