O conforto do peregrino/ albergue

We were a bit worried about this albergue due to some of the reviews, but had a fantastic stay. We were pleasantly surprised to find the room had only 4 beds, and a private bathroom. Dinner was great and Cecilia very pleasant. The view and the town were both lovely. This was one of our best experiences on the Camino Portugues.

The host was very attentive and responsive. She even gave me a discount because I ran out of cash. Prices is a little above the average but it was worth it. Food was good

Hi, lucky to find this place after I took a detour stroll in center of labruja. Very friendly welcome. You can also take dinner (I had a very nice pasta dish, also big plate + tiramisu with vanilla ) and breakfast at this place.

The daughter with a very high cuteness-factor is the stamp-er of the house, she might do the rest of your credential if you would ask^^.

Stayed here during our Camino before the large mountain climb - it was great. Rooms are very clean and new. Clean sheets and new mattress. Bathroom is so clean, hot water and brand new. Balcony with amazing views (attached). Dinner was very good and homemade tiramisu was DELICIOUS. Wonderful bottle of red wine as the sun set. Very nice breakfast included. Definitely stay here before you climb the mountain on Camino!

Cecilia is a great hostess and very eager to take good care of us. The dinner was great and lots and there was fantastic homemade dessert.
There are four of us and we all slept great. The first night I have slept through while this Camino.

We really enjoyed our stay in Cecilia's albergue. It is a small, quiet and comfortable albergue with 3 rooms, 2 showers and a kitchen. We had a good rest there. Everything was clean and the dinner was delicious (especially the dessert).

Stayed here during our 4th night of Camino and couldn’t have picked a better place! Hostess was so kind and offered us water upon arrival. The rooms were clean and new - fresh sheets and pillows. The bathroom was immaculately clean and the shower had lovely hot water. Dinner was great, the homemade dessert was the best tiramisu I’ve ever had! Had a lovely evening on the little balcony - some of the best views on the Camino so far. Definitely stay here when you’re traveling the Camino!!

Very welcoming host. Accommodation offers everything you need. Nice view from a top of the mountain. Perfect location for those piligrims who want to take a day off after longer way, because the village is 10km prom Ponte de Lima.

Absolutely great value for the price, peaceful stay and kind hostess, dinner was delicious and the surrounding ensures great views, bunk beds for pilgrims, however 4 beds in one room with toilet and shower is great standard for a hostel

Pilgrims' hostel, run by a very friendly and helpful hospitalera. Please don't mind the construction in front of the house, just ring and you'll be warmly welcomed.
Great location if you want to walk a little further than Ponte de Lima but not yet do the mountain hike. Definitely recommend it.

A warm house was that, what we needed after a long, cold and rainy day. And Oconforte was exactly that. Best of all: warm and delicios dinner, witch was homemade by Cecilia.
Rooms and beds are very clean, the bathroom is modern and the shower is hot.

A nice place to stay between Pont de Lima and Rubiães. Has everything you need an very nice hosts.

Verbringe heute eine Nacht in der Albergue. Reinkommen war kein Problem, ich wurde von Weitem von der Dame des Hauses winkend begrüßt. Die Unterkunft selbst ist aber auch darauf ausgelegt, dass keiner unbequem warten muss, wenn die Hausherrin nicht da ist... an der Tür ein Schild "schonmal reingehen, Bett aussuchen, ich komme gleich"... man kann also sowohl drinnen in der überdachten Außenküche warten oder sich drinnen schon unkompliziert einrichten. Die Hausherrin spricht nicht viel englisch, aber alles Wichtige konnte gut geklärt werden. Bad und (einfache) Zimmer (inklusive Bettwäsche) waren sauber und locker vergleichbar mit anderen Herbergen dieser Preisklasse. Das gebuchte Abendessen war ein homemade Drei-Gänge-Menü, bestehend aus hausgemachtem Knoblauchbrot, Zucchini-Kartoffelplätzchen, Gemüsesuppe mit frischem Spinat, Einem Reis-Thunfisch-Gemüse-Auflauf und einer Sahnecreme.... Selbst denen, die KEIN Dinner gebucht hatten und die dabei saßen, wurde Wein und etwas zum Probieren angeboten.

Als wir fertig waren mit essen und sie -jaaaa, ziemlich lautstark- den Tisch abräumte und das Frühstück vorbereitete, wurde uns sogar noch Kaffee angeboten, ohne Aufpreis.

Die Dame des Hauses hat einen rigorosen, portugiesischen Charme, war aber sehr herzlich, wenn man sie zu nehmen wusste.

Die Katze des Hauses war ein bisschen distanzlos und musste Grenzen gesetzt kriegen, ließ sich aber problemlos rausbefördern.

Alles in allem eine schöne Herberge, in der das Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis stimmt. Von Pilger-Abzocke nicht die Spur.

Espaço muito limpo, novo.
A D.cecilia é a dona, muito atenciosa e simpática, recebe-nos com um refrescante refresco.
Pagamos 30€ por pessoa, com jantar e pequeno almoço, pois na zona não tem nada, aonde se fazer refeições.
Somente uma mercearia a cerca de 3km antes do Albergue.
Assim fizemos a subida, fresquinhos logo da manhã.

Mais uma vez adorei estar aí, tudo cinco estrelas, o jantar maravilhoso, um quarto tão grande como tranquilo.
Um pequeno almoço com tudo o que é preciso, até bananas à vontade
