San Lorenzo Golf Course

This is an extremely beautiful magical place with pure nature from which you can get peace and relaxation.

Had a great game of golf here. It's not a hugely long course but most holes require a level of thinking on your tee shot and also second shots.

The greens were quick and rolling very true, yet soft when hitting into from a distance. Has some very good views and water holes as well as very nice homes dotted around the course.

We visited San Lorenzo in November, not knowing what to expect, considering we had not been there since Covid, and the demise of the clubhouse, 😒
The online comments did not fill us with any confidence, but after playing the course 3 times, we unanimously agreed that the course still remains one of the best layouts in the Algarve. And it was in great condition
The staff were great considering they were operating from a temporary hut for a clubhouse, the picnic bags were a great idea and welcomed by all.
And we made great use of the little pop up bar too😋

Amazing golf course very memorable with some very distinct sections playing along the coast to playing through villas and playing around the beautiful lakes. The club house is tired at best but loved the golf course highly recommended

The San Lorenzo is a really, really nice golf course, and we highly recommend it. In great condition when we brought a group through in September. Great staff, and a very interesting layout. The course meanders down along the sea through holes 6 and 7 and finishes with a few great closing holes. If you're planning a trip to the Algarve for golf, this should be on the list. Great character

Having played five courses in the area over the past week, this was definitely the best. Lots of really interesting holes in which the architect uses trees and bunkers to make things seem tight but in fact lots of room out there. The last holes on the front nine are really scenic and interesting. 18th is kind of diabolical but fun! Greens in very good condition. A few hills to climb but pretty easy to walk. I actually liked the clubhouse as it was more relaxed and made for golfers rather than a resort set. If you are golfing in this area, you should definitely make this a stop.

Part of our long standing golf tour which we all love. 6 7 8 18 can easily be blobs on the card without strong course management. There are courses in better condition however SL has to be a part of your trip. Cheers RBS

We only popped in for a quick drink in the bar and we fell in love with San Lorenzo! What a magnificent garden and fantastic view!
The bar and the restaurant are very nice. The hotel rooms have enormous balconies, each of them edged lavishly with blooming plants.

Nice course. Challenging. Lots of variation. Nice old style clubhouse. More character than many other courses in the area.

Fantastic golf course. layout is superb a real challenge.the only complaint would be its a little bit shabby around the edges but still is a class course.

The place to play golf! Fantastic view. Excellent golf course and very nice people. Not a crowdy place where golfers are packed to maximize green fees ! They respect Golfers! Will be back soon for sure!

Great golf course with really challenging holes. It was a very enjoyable round of golf played with friends.

I travel and play all over the world but if asked this is my favorite course, talk about hard, has 2 Amen Corners 6-7-8 and ,16-17-18 you would love the challenge.

this place is crazy if you like , nature , golf, wine ,peace and so much more to discover ,things to live that will never be advirtise, you simply have to feel it.
