Wow - can’t say enough good things about this company! My mom and I travelled with them in September 2023 and were thoroughly impressed with their customer experience. They were very accommodating and created a customized itinerary based on our needs that was better than anything we could have come up with. I just returned from a Portuguese Camino which they coordinated. If I could give 6-stars, this company would get them. Extremely good communication and they provided valuable information. They have a 24-7 emergency number — you do talk to a human. The Hotels they selected were excellent and the schedule very good. Normally, such service as that provided would come at a premium price — but not Portugal Greenways. Their fees are reasonable and their service is 1st Class

Portugal Gree Walks organized a fantastic cycling holiday along the Camino de Santiago Portuguese Central route. The bikes were great, the logistics were smooth and the hotels were good to great. I highly recommend Green Walks for their organization and local knowledge.

This company specializes in walking and biking in Portugal. We used them for cycling the coastal route of the Camino from Porto to Santiago de Compostela. We had a mishap the first day. They completely looked after everything and treated us line royalty with dignity & respect.
Thus is certainly a company to use and to trust in your Camino travels.

Extraordinary comprehensive service. Our group of four just completed a self-guided Coastal Camino from Porto to Santiago. Our itinerary was planned/customized by PGW (Paola) with attention to detail and responsiveness, including 24 hours-or-less thoughtful answers to all our questions, big and small. Keep in mind they can build virtually any plan (including hotel reservations and luggage transfer) - any number of days, miles/kilometers, rest days, hotel rating, etc. Among other things, you will receive a detailed, customized route plan with background info, travel tips, optional routes, suggested sites and diversion along the way, satellite photos of your hotel location and, particularly helpful, a GPS track to see if you're going the right way when things get confusing! I didn't realize how complete their support was until comparing notes with other pilgrims, who totally missed the waterfalls just 200 meters off the trail, or had no idea that that chapel celebrated where St. James' body came ashore or didn't know what to do when facing two arrows pointing in opposite directions, etc. We knew - we had read all about it and we had received an in-person briefing the night before we left, from Frederico in our case, who highlighted all the relevant information and answered all our questions. Top notch, all the way around.

My sister-in-law and I chose the Peneda-Geres National Park walk. Words fail me on describing it. The area was remote, beautiful, rugged and awe inspiring. It was a lovely mixture of solitude with the sounds, scents and peace of walking over highland ridges, through woods, along cattle tracks and narrow cobblestone roads and meeting local people. PGW arranged our stays in beautiful hotels and beautiful B&B’s. I contacted them several times as new questions arose and they we’re always extremely helpful. The areas we covered we’re pretty remote and we we’re a little concerned about getting lost. We didn’t! They have put a lot of thought into their packages and we really did not run into any problems. I would highly recommend Portugal Green Walks. Portugal is an amazing place, with a beautiful, tough people. I hope to revisit again soon.

We are a group of 7 women and we have used PGW twice. We walked from Porto to Santago in 2022 and Santiago to Muxia in June . Everything was well organised and we stayed in Nice places. The price was good too so I thoroughly recommend

We have just finished El Camino Central Portugal and used this company. They were terrific and everything went so smoothly. No hiccups at all. The hotels they those for us along the route were fabulous and spaced out quite well. I would absolutely use this company again in the future. Highly recommend to anyone.

Just completed a wonderful walking holiday - the three day espiritual variante of the caminho followed by a 7 day trek from Santiago to Finnisterra and Muxia. This was our second hiking trip that Greenwalks helped us organized and it was absolutely terrific. We put together our own trip, spending extra days in certain towns we wanted to explore. Greewalks worked with us, gave us advise and structured our own nearly 4 week costal walk. All the hotels were clean and comfortable, the walking app very useful, and knowing that the staff of Greenwalks would help us if we had any troubles, as we had during our last walk, made for a perfect adventure. Highly recommend this group of people!

Words fail us (a group of 12 from) to thank Marcos, Tiago and Jose for setting up a trip of a lifetime.
