Stopped here for a quick lunch while exploring the city. The meal was delicious and the staff was very friendly.

Nice people and atmosphere. Food was good but had better in Viana so far. Still loved it there. Good prices.

Fantastic portuguese food and a very nice, multilingual and competent chef. I had the grilled dorada, the next day -I had to come back- the grilled robalo and the sopa de legumas. Everything great and fresh. Nice wine going with it, white and red ;). Very familiar, very nice place. I will come back!

Outstanding meal. Lamb braised until very tender. But surprisingly, the cabbage side vegetable, was mind blowing. This is a small husband and wife kitchen. Wine 4€ a half bottle, lamb and salad very reasonable. The restaurant is very popular with local expatriates. I watched plates literally be vacuumed clean. By God, this is good.

Came for Friday night dinner at 730, got a table right away. Diverse menu, excellent food. Recommend the cod and octopus. Excellent service, nice people. Would certainly come back. Well priced too.

We enjoyed it so much we decided to eat there a couple of nights later! Sea Bass, Octopus, Cabbage soup, side dishes... all were exceptional. We ate at a number of restaurants. O Vasco was our favorite. Owner and family are WONDERFUL hosts. We felt like part of the family. Highly recommended!!!

Lovely restaurant with a friendly owner. We had the kid for two, which was delicious. Great value, couldn't fault it. Wish we'd tried the house wines instead of having beers.

Very good fish and nice service! But 1,50 cover charge plus a charge for appetizers which are served without ordering them.
Still recommendable!
